Best part of an hour waiting for a breakfast! The vegi breakfast seems very much an after thought with burgers? Not impressed at all, won't bother going back

An absolutely wonderful stop for lunch when visiting my mum on Monday! Delicious food. She had the hunters chicken & I had the ham,egg & chips. Both were perfectly sized portions & absolutely delicious. We also thought both meals & drinks were very fairly Priced. The service was excellent. The host & serving staff were warm & friendly. We felt like we were regulars despite it being our first visit.

1st time we have been bit of a wait for the food but were told when we sat down as they were busy, but it was well worth the wait it was pipping hot & very good selection of vegetables & a good choice of desserts as well, the staff were very friendly & helpful & polite would recommend it & will definitely go again

Modern and nicely set out in a generic modern way. Tea was fine and the cakes are better than some. Yes, it's in Acle so you do get an NFN crowd...and what will stop us coming back....a love of dogs....how are cafes allowed dogs that lick up crumbs from the chairs, all encouraged by owners and the staff!

We went for a meal and the staff didn't want to be there or want to serve you. People left whilst we were there and people had to wait a long time to receive their food. We had to wait a long time to be served for drinks and the atmosphere wasn't good either. We were disappointed as had heard good things about this place

We was had just handed the boat back across the river and the four of us thought we would go over the bridge to get some breakfast We sat inside waiting to be served then after about 15 mins a member of staff came over to ask us what we would like we asked first for two teas and two coffee’s which we we’re then told they had no milk to make them so we decided to drive into Great Yarmouth and get some breakfast there as we wanted drinks with the breakfast

We called in for drinks when staying at the nearby Travelodge. Most of the pub is turned over to dining areas with steaks the main specialty. The bar area is a bit limited with a cramped layout. It didn't feel cosy. It was quite full with locals. Service was adequate and friendly enough. Little choice on the menu for vegetarians but they are catered for. I found drinks prices reasonable (Under £7 for a pint of ale and a coke) - and cheaper than another pub in the area. Not a great selection of drinks but adequate. They also do rooms. Wouldn't rush back to be honest

The food is okay but the 2 people working are not really interested in having customers. We went tonight and they avoided us for up to 10 minutes, while we were waiting to just ask if they had a table for 3 .There were lots of tables empty in the back, only 1 was taken. When I finally got their attention and asked if they had a table available they told me that we will have to wait for 1.5 hours. This is not the first time we had a negative experience in this place.Around 3 weeks ago we went there in a Sunday and we had to wait over 1 hour for food. They are clearly understaffed
