What a load of slop. Never in 49 yrs of eating Indian food have I had this absolutely terrible slop. They have no idea of what a curry is . Stay at home and cook it yourself or please go elsewhere and dave your life

Took over two hours for one curry,rice and popadoms was told it would be about 1 hour 15mins which was fine didn’t turn up so spoke to them and was told 10 mins another half hour later asked again and was told 10mins again then waited another 25mins to turn up then when it finally turned up it was really that hot so asked for a refund or part refund and told I couldn’t have a refund because they were busy and it’s not there fault. That’s fine you’ve lost another customer

My nan was missing (supposed to come with the Balti dish) and there was no salad with the tandoori mixed grill. One dish had leaked all in the bag and my husband said something in the tandoori grill was really salty. Not bad but not 100%

one of our dishes(the Bhuna) leaked all over everything, the lid of the aloo gobi was soaked through in the bhuna sauce so we had aloo gobi that tasted of Bhuna. we ordered 3 bags of onion bhaji and in 1 bag there was 1 whole bhaji and 2 half's of one instead of 3 whole bhaji. the driver just said something leaked as he handed it over,

food was far too full of salt/msg to the point where it gad an oddly gritty/grainy texture. the jalfrezi was nice but the tikka was almost inedible. The staff were incredibly busy but when we asked about our order (which we were there at the estimated time to collect) we were just told "its not ready" with no further comment and they rushed off. 20 minutes later they finally came out and offered a single poppadom for our time.

Shocking. When rang to query where order was just said on its say and hung up even though on app it said it had been delivered. RUDE!!

Have been using Acle spice for several years. Food usually good but stopped doing home delivery as arrived very late and was cold. So last night we ordered via just eats £45 worth of food via just eats for two pick up time was 1825 we were there on time told it would be 10 minutes late and it was eventually ready 25 minutes after the pick up time. Got a tandoori Melia for £12 95 and the meat was so tough could not chew. You used to be our go to place but no longer . And we have purchased a lot from you. No point getting at the staff Best thing is sadly not to use you anymore.

Took two hours to arrive not happy at all

ordered at 18:20, delivery was 19:15-20:00. turned up at 20:45 cold. couldn't get through to the restaurant as was engaged or they didn't answer. I ordered a chicken tikka starter and got boiled rice, the rest of the order was correct but as I've said it was cold. not good enough considering the price aswell, extremely disappointed and not the first time Acle spice have messed up. won't be using again

I was missing some of my order so I called and they said they would leave a credit for me next time I bought from them. But when I ate the food I didn’t think that was as nice as before. The butter chicken tasted like it had sugar in it, it was so sweet. I always have that dish and I’ve never tasted it like that. Not sure I would buy from them again.

Lamb was way over cooked and chewy

Food was good but I ordered lamb and got chicken, also the mint yoghurt had a skin on the top. Never seen that before.

Best meal yet from these guys. The Shatkora chicken in particular was amazing. Also loved the aloo sag. Simply perfect.

45 years ago l was enjoying curries at my favourite Indian restaurant in coventry The Curry Mahal which it’s Lamb Madras had a unique taste and smell and since it closed 40 years ago l have been craving that taste. Well today l finally found it at the Acle Spice Indian takeaway and now aged 65 you don’t know how happy l am. I ordered a Lamb Madras, Lamb Chilli Masala and 2 plain naans absolute perfection. Please try this place and l hope like me you find a little piece of heaven.

Ordered from Acle Spice many times before but sadly this time it was not good. Ordered a Lamb Jalfrezi which is normally great however tonight the meat was very tough and full of gristle. It was edible but not enjoyable. Also we received a Chicken Korma instead of a Chicken Tikka Masala. We would have complained, however, we couldn't wait long enough to complain and arrange another delivery as my daughter needed feeding. Sadly disappointed and won't be considering a near £60.00 takeaway curry again any time soon.

Excellent food. Everything tastes 'quality'. The lamb and chicken in the shaslik and tandoori mixed grill are cooked to perfection.... Nice bits of charring but tender meat. Rice and side dishes v tasty too. Delivery driver was prompt and really pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Food was good ... Only complaint I have is that something had leaked in the bag ... But not mixed with the food so not a big problem . Thank you .. food was really good
