After a coach excursion we stopped at the lodge for a Cavery 53 plus piled into the restaurant to be served efficiently, the food was excellent and there was no low standard due to the amount of people, we were last in the party to eat and we had full and hot food.A big shout out to Tina xx the whole experience will be repeated and this venue is highly recommended 😀

I popped in with my partner to be confronted by the male manager who seemed to be seething, rushing around in an angry strop , dropping cutlery ( spoons ) all over the floor before picking them all up and putting them straight into the public cutlery tray ( let's hope nobody had dog poo on their shoes that day! ). He also rudely looks people up and down from head to toe, overtly which is extremely bad mannered and me and my partner left soon as we were sick of noticing him. The drinks? Extra large mugs are a normal kitchen mug size with a head on the latte taking up a quarter of the mug ( I would dread to see what a small cup looks like ). On a plus side, the female staff seem polite but the contaminated cutlery issue means that this place cannot be recomended

Adem's Kebab in Attleborough is an absolute delight, and my recent experience with their delivery service, particularly with the driver Peter, made it even more enjoyable. From the moment I placed my order, I could tell that Adem's Kebab is dedicated to providing excellent service and delicious food. The menu at Adem's Kebab is extensive, featuring a variety of kebabs, wraps, and sides that cater to all tastes. I decided to try their lamb kebab, which is known for its rich flavor and tenderness. When the food arrived, I was immediately impressed by the packaging; everything was neatly secured, ensuring that my meal was still hot and fresh. The aroma wafting from the bag was mouth-watering, and I couldn't wait to dig in. Peter, the delivery driver, was friendly and professional. He arrived right on time, which is always a plus when you're hungry! He greeted me with a smile and made sure to confirm that everything was correct with my order before leaving. It's clear that he takes pride in his work, and that level of customer service adds to the overall positive experience with Adem's Kebab. Once I opened my meal, I was blown away by the quality of the food. The lamb kebab was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of char. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the accompanying garlic sauce added a fantastic kick. The fresh pita bread was soft and warm, making it the ideal vessel for the kebab. I also ordered a side of hummus, which was creamy and delicious, perfectly complementing the meal. What truly sets Adem's Kebab apart is not just the food but the entire experience, including the delivery. Peter's prompt and courteous service made the meal feel even more special. It's evident that Adem's Kebab values their customers and strives to create a memorable dining experience, whether in-house or through delivery. In conclusion, Adem's Kebab in Attleborough is a must-try for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. With their delicious food and outstanding delivery service led by drivers like Peter, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend giving them a try—you'll find yourself coming back for more!

I like old hotel buildings with character and this fitted perfectly overlooking the beautiful church. A little dated in the main areas (toilets could do with a redec) but that keeps with the 16th century atmosphere. The single room was modern, clean with the bed being a little too soft for my liking but I slept ok. Shower was modern although one drawback was it wasn’t a power shower and it had a somewhat weak waterflow with hot water taking some time to come through. The TV was somewhat dated but it worked ok. Room made up each day I was there (3 days) and tea/coffee/biscuits replenished. Breakfast selection was ok and I did not have any cooked offerings but could do with a little extra selection. One draw back here was the butter portions were rock hard so could not spread on toast. Short time window for dinner 7-8.30pm and a bit late for me and no dinners served Sunday either. Parking was a little tricky with space for 3 or 4 cars depending on size but on road parking 6pm-8am (free and time restricted) suited my circumstances.

Food cold and greasy. Some dishes, the spices seem raw. Vermicelli was fine. Veggie / vegan options very limited. Go to Royal Garden - the other high street options are just as crap. Maybe if I hadn't been born and brought up where good Asian food is freely available - my best friend at nursery school was in the Chinese High Commission - I'd think this rubbish was ok, but, ugh. East of England needs to up its game, useless dump.

Visited this hidden gem of Norfolk several times lately and has to be one of the best pubs I have ever been too! The staff are lovely and polite, beer on tap is outstanding and reasonably priced and the customers are more than welcoming to anyone and everyone. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip and by far the best pub in Attleborough!
