Great food in here. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Will come back more often!

Disappointing. Went in on way home with no booking and the place looked good so we were hopeful of a good experience. Service was clunky with the bar man being waiter and server too. It was also very slow. Had to get our own menus. All had different dishes and they were all of varying quality IMO. Took a long time for food to appear and it did not come out all at the same time. Steak was fine. Burger average. Plate looked lacking. Chips awful. Tasted odd - I thought they were oven chips but if fried under done. Small portion. Veg options not great - Frittata not good and was not eaten. Fish was ok Pie ok chicken ok. Overall it was a disappointment. I have had much better for similar pricing and I would not go back. The staff were friendly and the setting is quite nice so I would say the chef let this meal down.

Christmas lunch at Lovejoys with the family. Food great and very generous portions . The service was impeccable. Great day thank you so much.

We have been looking for a good Indian Restaurant for ages and to our joy we have found it , excellent food and top service this is our first time here and it definitely won't be our last top top restaurant.

We had our Christmas party at Prested Hall, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning, with a charming and elegant atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the evening. The room we were in was beautifully set up, creating a festive and welcoming vibe. Every detail was carefully considered, adding to the magic of the night. The DJ was excellent, keeping the energy high and ensuring everyone was having fun. The free selfie booth was a brilliant touch, providing lots of laughs and memories to take home. The food was absolutely delicious, with every course exceeding expectations. The organisation of the event was seamless, with everything running smoothly and efficiently. To top it all off, the price was incredibly reasonable for what we got. It was a night to remember, and I’d highly recommend Prested Hall for anyone looking to host a memorable event. Thank you to Lauren and the team for making our Christmas party so special, and they were so helpful, attentive and understanding especially when we kept having to amend numbers or names!

We have visited a number of times and held our wedding reception in the private dining area and gourgous courtyard. The staff here are amazing. All the waiting staff are so friendly. The chef and kitchen team do a great job preparing wonderful food. Chris and Angela take pride in ensuring your event is planned to perfection. I strongly recommend this venue. Today was an afternoon tea that was gifted to us by friends and we had a fantastic afternoon. Many thanks all.

Paid £49 for the smallest portions you’ve ever seen wouldnt get a takeaway from this place again if you were paying! Honestly who do they think they are??? Attaching photographs so you can see how ridiculous barely any meat just sauce what absolute scumbags!

Always good food and great ambience

Thought it may be different after giving it a swerve for a while but last week my partner stopped in for some fish and chips. The chips are clearly not cooked fresh each day they are like bits of wood, so rock hard I’ve never experienced anything like it. Maybe just avoid the chips if you use this place!

This Burger King is, unfortunately, one of the most uninviting stops I’ve encountered. The car park is muddy and difficult to navigate, making the arrival experience less than ideal. Inside, there’s limited seating, and the overall atmosphere feels rather bleak. It seems like more attention to cleanliness and seating capacity could significantly improve the experience for travelers looking for a quick, comfortable meal.

Smoky chicken Cajun rice & drink for under a fiver isn’t bad but the wooden fork mixed in rice makes it a bit messy. Still better than a BK. These EG Group services always have rank loos!
