Went for lunch and the food was great and staff were lovely, I will definitely go back.

Good food and service. Looked closed from the outside. Should be a gem of a location by the river, front needs a good tidy.

Ordered a takeaway from here. Literally plain pasta with broccoli. No sauce, no Parmesan and no chilli. Dry and bland.

I recently visited the New Inn Pub and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! The meal I had was the best I've enjoyed in months. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Apple Plum Crumble Pie – it was, without a doubt, the best I've ever eaten in my life. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the sweetness of the apples and plums melding harmoniously with the buttery, crumbly topping. Each bite was a delightful journey of taste and texture. The warm, welcoming atmosphere of the pub added to the overall enjoyment of my meal. It's not just a meal, it's a culinary adventure that I highly recommend to all food lovers. The New Inn Pub truly sets the bar high with its exceptional cuisine and charming ambiance.

Ordered a Peri Peri burger meal. Well put together and they spent time making the food rather than rushing it like most places nowadays. Burger was packed with a lot more flavour than I had expected.

The man was not talkative and spoke abruptly when serving, however the food was good

Would definitely not recommend! Apparently the business is under a new management, it is not same quality as before. Adana kebab was mixed with something else half was Adana kebab, half was not adana kebab, something else. Ordered large size yet Less than a large portion. Large portions come as 2 portions of kebab! Its seriously upsetting. Plus they are against freedom of speech.

1st we ordered drinks, mine a tomato juice No ice with Worcestershire sauce, my drink arrived with ice and a catering bottle of sauce. Food 80% there & tasty & hot. 3 of us ordered Lamb, I asked for mint sauce & was told “sorry we have run out!” it amazes me how a restaurant in a village couldn’t just go to a local shop & buy some when they knew they were running short, especially when there are only 3 choices for a Sunday lunch one being Lamb. The waitresses seemed to be in their own little world with very little interest in who they were serving. We had to go and ask for the bill after waiting for a while, when she bought it over before we had looked at it I was asked “Do you want the card machine? Shame as the potential for a good restaurant is here but they definitely need some staff training if they want to proceed & keep up with the other eateries in the area. It’s very rare for me not to leave a gratuity but in this instance I felt it was totally undeserved.

I have enjoyed takeouts and sit in meals at New Bombay, and I have enjoyed every experience. The staff are great, takeout are always on the early side and piping hot, and the food is amazing. Would really recomend this to anyone.
