Fish was excellent, batter nice and crispy, chips were good and hot

I’m sorry but the fish and pineapple fritter was very greasy I had to use paper towel to soak it up, this was my first order from here I don’t think I will order again if I’m honest

Delivered while stit warm enough treat immediately. delivery driver had no problems with the instructions and was very pleasant. Will have to learn how to choose from the menu better as it was my first time and I couldn't find where some of the stuff I would have liked to order were.

We didn't get the food we requested, we received thigh and drumstick rather than wing and breast. We also received food which we didn't order.

not the best experience, Luke warm food, part of order missing, although when we rang up to complain lady was polite, told we had to go and pick up missing item. refund given. would I order again from here, probably not, plenty of others to chose from. on a positive note, my Mrs said curry sauce was nice.

I have eating at this place for about 3 year one of the best chips shop but I must say had large cod and chip x2 and it was the most horrible cod I have ever had so disappointed it has now put me off cod if was cod

Started coming here after my local one became increasingly disappointing! It all comes down to the chips, Very generous portions! I've tried my faves here, Cod, pie, and burger and it's a thumbs up from me! There's also other things I'm looking forward to trying here. The staff are excellent, welcoming and efficient. I also like that we can order and pay ahead and just pop in to collect. Now our go-to chippy!

i recently ordered chips , pie and savaloy from there chip shop , hoping for a satisfying meal after feeling very unwell . unfortunately i was left disappointed with the quality of the food. the savaloy i received was hard and cold, lacking the freshness i expected. additionally the chips seemed stale . tasting as if they were leftovers from the previous day. as someone who was looking forward to a comforting meal . i was gutted by the experience and cost .i hope the chip shop can improve the freshness and quality of there offerings in the future to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for customers

Fish and chips x 2 fish a good 8 out of ten but the chips were the worst I have ever had thrown straight in the bin never again

delivery time kept getting extended, then item was missing and now I have to wait a few days to see if just eat decide to refund my missing item...

We were very very disappointed with tonight’s fish and chips. The fish was lukewarm and the chips were dry crispy bits. Lukewarm too. Previous orders have been fine but tonight’s were dismal. As well as having to pay more this time around too.

I ordered chicken meat and chips I ended up with half salad and a very small handful of chips and a handful of chicken meat. Food was cold. If I wanted meat and salad I would have ordered that but I didn’t. Driver sat in car smoking for 5 mins until he knocked on my door and stunk of tobacco.

Always good we have noticed chip portion size is smaller than it used to be also the cod was dry needed to be fresh

if we don't get our food delivered from here ,we collect it .The whole meal seemed stale ,as if it had been warmed up or re cooked ,the batter wasn't crispy ,it was chewy and as I said above the chips were the same ,very poor meal

Fish is beautiful. The best fish in Bedford. The chips however… awful. Rubbery and awful. The grease in the wrapped fish was swimming, so much so it was coming through the bag. (Luckily we take the batter off our fish. The final negative … we ordered two cans of coke. These were in the same paper bag as the hot food! What’s that about? I think going forward I will just order the fish!!! Forget the chips!!

Food was cold delivery driver had been driving around with are food for half told it wasn’t cold and it was so not happy as I would like a refund but that probably won’t happen

Very delicious food, friendly staff and they are preparing your takeaway food as fast as they can. So, no long waiting on a queue. You can also order online and then go and collect it yourself. The portion size of chips (we've got a large one) is very satisfying. The fish and the fried chicken taste delicious. Well done!

Ordered lge donner meat with chips battered sausage yesterday via just eat should have been delivered by 455pm ,actually arrived 521pm All cold dark over cooked donner meat 1 slice cucumber 1 slice Tommoto 9 pieces of chips absolutely disgusting order shamfull of chippy store sending food like this out to customers ,could not complain via just eat app because chippy did not add order on just eat Web site I wonder why ? I Will be contacting just eat customers Services department 1st thing Monday 9am Will never order again...loss of £18. 45p and spoilt our Saturday night

The food is always good whether it is collected or delivered. I will not go anywhere else now for fish and chips or any other foods available on the menu. The delivery driver was great, he actually took notice of the delivery instructions and followed him. I don't know who he was but "thank you".

Best chippy around, great portion sizes

My son eats a lot of burgers and this one is the best one he has ever had! ( his words!) The chips were fluffy and crunchy at the same time which is just perfect. This was our first time ordering but will definitely be replacing our usual chippy. Would absolutely recommend.
