The best restaurants in Wickford Park Basildon East of England

One of the nicest, best coffee spots I've ever been to. Most cappuccino are like latte, but this place does it right. Pastries are really tasty and home baked. Lots of interesting items for sale. Six in our party and all very pleased with their order. Staff are very friendly and provide great service. Located beside a small park. Wish it was close to home--I'd be a frequent visitor.

I am shocked to how bad this meal was Apparently the driver was knocking on our door and I never heard it so I had to wait another 40 mins why they supposedly cooked me a fresh one 🤔 The king prawn Pathia was inedible as the prawns where like rubber I used to use this takeaway many years ago and thought I'd give it another try. What a mistake and what a waste of £20

Absolutely gutted this has shut for good! Been drinking here on and off for 17 years. Staff come and go with new ideas and new rules but at the end of the day the regulars make it good along with a mixture of your desirables next door, some with whom I've enjoyed a few drinks with and some the current staff kept in check!! Will miss the bike nights and all the car meets!!! Such a shame the legendary Harrow pub, we all now know as the Dick Turpin, has come to an end! Yet another great British pub moving on for cash reasons. I'm really disappointed with Greene King. It's sad to drive past now to see it boarded up with concrete blocks on the perimeter, making it look like a prison! I hope this is a painless transition....thanks to all the accommodating staff that are now looking for work. 😓

We decided to have a family bank holiday meal here today at 12.00 noon.From the time we arrived we were made welcome by all the staff .We were served immediately and all with an energetic smile .Our main servers were Samme Lisa and Charlie who were very attentive and kept us informed about our food orders .We spoke at the end and commended them on how our experience made our day .Keep it up guys breath of fresh air .We will defo be back xxx

Lovely lunch here for my Grandsons birthday. Very generous potions and a lovely waitress. Look forward to returning here soon

I had the chicken shish wrap and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked, it was juicy, succulent, and full of flavour. Everything was fresh, the wrap was nicely grilled, and the service was friendly too. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

So disappointed in tonight's meal literally all went in the bin. Everything was freshly cooked but the curry was like water and no flavour and the chicken balls were so dry and over cooked. Such a shame as normally can't fault it

Ignored by two female members of staff while they did a personal transaction on the till. In fact, we actually asked if they were still serving as we had not been acknowledged. One member just replied bluntly yes and continued with their transaction. It all seemed a bit of an effort for them. The tea was coffee was actually nice when we received them.

can't complain about the food in general but clearly stated in the notes we asked for sachets for salt amd vinegar and they was missing.

Prices have gone up yet again- TERRIBLE when portion size are so small… Pisces in the town are so much better ………………………….
