The best restaurants in Wickford North Basildon East of England

A new discovery to us during lockdown. They have a fascinating menu with lots of new and exciting dishes to try. My favourite is Nagariya Chicken but I can highly recommend the mince meat and chicken dish called Gurkhas Revenge! and no it doesn't come back to bite you in the morning. One thing to point out is there are no vegetarian options on the 'Just Eat' menu;their preferred method of on-line ordering. However, when I phoned the take-away they do have vegetarian options so check direct if that's your thing. Delivery is spot on. Each time I have asked for a Sat night delivery for 7.15pm it has arrived within 10 minutes.....amazing! Well worth a try.

2nd time we ordered past 2 weeks and food was sooo soo salty!!! like u cant even taste anything!! waste of 45£!!

Ate from there last night and within a couple of hours had the worst food poisoning and am now laid up in bed all day with constant sickness, unable to work or move. Will never eat here again

Ordered online on a Wednesday night (so not a busy night) and it took 1hr 30 mins to arrive. It’s 5 mins drive away. The food was greasy and tasteless. You would get a better meal at Aldi for a fraction of the price. The management were rude and care one bit. They had our £65 so he didn’t care. He even boasted about owning a Chinese takeaway too for some reason. I imagine that’s worse. Please DO NOT waste your time and money at this place. I am certain there are better places around the area. We just got unlucky.

Unfortunately this business is now closed , after many years as a cheap eatery they have closed for good . I’m not sure if the premises are for sale no notices are up,

Without a doubt, the best Chinese food takeaway in the whole of the Wickford area. Full portions, fair price although we would all like it cheaper, Fresh, hot, fast, although a bit longer at peak times.

One of the best, if not the best Chinese restaurant around. I have been going there for years and have never been disappointed and neither have my friends and family.

Really nice pub decor good condition but shame about the bouncers, seem to be aggressive unless you’re in a family unit and have seen them trying to provoke people for some reason (your safe if your in a family unit), lucky enough never seen anyone rise to them.
