A new discovery to us during lockdown. They have a fascinating menu with lots of new and exciting dishes to try. My favourite is Nagariya Chicken but I can highly recommend the mince meat and chicken dish called Gurkhas Revenge! and no it doesn't come back to bite you in the morning. One thing to point out is there are no vegetarian options on the 'Just Eat' menu;their preferred method of on-line ordering. However, when I phoned the take-away they do have vegetarian options so check direct if that's your thing. Delivery is spot on. Each time I have asked for a Sat night delivery for 7.15pm it has arrived within 10 minutes.....amazing! Well worth a try.

The food did take over an hour to arrive however it was a Saturday night so can appreciate if they are busy. When the food arrived... wow! It smelled delicious and the takeaway tubs were really heavy and full. You really get a lot of food for your money. We ordered a lamb dopiaza, pilau rice, chicken biryani, sag aloo and two keema nans. It only came to £22.95 and if you spent over £15 they give you a free bombay aloo. There were just two of us and we had too much food, we ended up with leftovers (which we did finish the next day) although we did give it a good go and try and finish our food that first night as it was so tasty. There was a lot of meat in the curries which were both cooked nicely. The sauces in the curries were full of flavour and the keema nans were HUGE! The sag aloo was cooked well and there was a perfect mix of potatoes and spinach. We will definitely be ordering from them again as it was really good quality tasty food and great value for money.

I had the pleasure of visiting Basil Spice in Basildon last night after a fun afternoon of bowling with friends, and I have to say, what an amazing find! We initially chose it because it was conveniently located near Festival Leisure Park, but it turned out to be so much more than just a quick meal. From the moment we walked in, the welcome was incredibly warm and genuine, which set the tone for the evening. The food was top-notch—flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The staff were fantastic, attentive, and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. What really surprised us, though, was the unexpected disco! What we thought would be a casual Indian meal quickly turned into a lively night out with music and dancing. It was such a fun and unique twist to our dinner plans! Basil Spice is definitely a place I’ll be visiting again, and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family for both the great food and the lively atmosphere. Can’t wait for round two!

22 BroadwayOrdered from pink garlic in wickford and was absolutely disgusted with the service and the food I was eating the fries and there was a short black hair mixed in them so I gave them a call and the man that answered the phone was very rude and would not help me at all. He ended the phone and when we tried to recall them he would not answer. I will not be ordering from them again and would advise for there future customers not to order from them again they deserve to be shut down if I could put 0 stars I would

2 Bridge ParadeThe delivery was 15 minutes late, the biriyani tasted of nothing, the bombay potatoes were bland and it was stone cold despite only being 5 mins from my house. Do not order from here if you use uber eats as they inflate the prices and still charge for delivery even if you have uber one and the app says you dont have too. I rang up to ask why i was overcharged and charged delivery and the man on tje phone was rude and continously spoke over me Not worth 10 pound let alone the near 40 pounds i payed
