Fabulous find. Lovely food all fresh and no additives. Great coffee Smashing staff and service . Perhaps some would say expensive but you get what you pay for . Rather pay extra for good service and ambience and lovely artisan food. Third visit and will certainly return

Amazing pizza. Best in Norwich for my money Have had the whole menu now and the capricciosa is my favourite. But would happily have any of them again

Lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. Seating inside and outside. Breakfast, brunch and lunch with a healthy emphasis and a bit of effort put in to make the dish special. You can also get sausage/bacon rolls and similar if you like. The cakes looked amazing but I was too full up to try one. Really good vegan and gluten-free options.

Went in on a misty damp Tuesday lunch time. Though a little chilly inside, a lovely cafe with such pleasant lady in charge. Our sandwiches were fresh, great bacon and super sausages topped off with a very tasty cuppa x 2. Very reasonably priced and would recommend you try it. Will return sometime, thank you!

The lovely couple from the Papas Locas food truck visited us at the Alpheton village hall and I cannot say enough about both the food and the lovely owners of Papas Locas. So many great responses from everyone at the hall and we’d love to have you back! Highly recommend!

We had a table of 8 for my 70th Birthday celebrations and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was a little apprehensive but as soon as I met Katherine (Owner) prior to our booking i was immediately drawn to the place. In regard to the food everything I ask for came out onto the table the food was amazing it was so delicious. We chose a Meze starter followed by Salmon, Shish Chicken and Lamb Skewers with the most delicious salads and vegetables and flat breads to die for, we also had Gorgeous Pavlova and a very varied Cheese Board for dessert the presentation was lovely, I honestly think Katherine old mke a boiled egg look pretty. Our food was served by Peter who assisted Catherine and he makes a very good Waiter. There was nothing we could fault and we definitely will be returning hopefully in the not too distant future. Had a takeaway from Taste of Thailand a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food! Honestly the best Thai food I have ever eaten. The prawn cakes for a starter were amazing - huge and crammed with prawns and the spring rolls were divine. Jam packed with filling, extra crispy with not a hint of greasiness. We shared chicken with basil, king prawn pad Thai, Panang tiger prawn curry and jasmine rice for main and everything was faultless. The prawns in the dishes were massive - juicy and perfectly cooked. The service when ordering and collecting was efficient and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Great restaurant, we didn't go for a while after it opened but so pleased we have now tried it. Wonderful service and food fron this Italian, the chef is from Sicily and has worked at some top London restaurants and you can tell by the quality of the food. Servie is also top quality. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Donna and her team make the best poached eggs on toast in town. The coffee is delicious, with hot milk, and you’re offered a top-up just at the right time. Best of all is the atmosphere, with cherry music playing, the friendly chat and listening ear, and being looked after by lovely, genuine people. Donna is moving on to focus on her catering business ‘Newman’s’ (on Facebook) I wish her luck. She and her team made this the best cafe in town, and made a real difference to Maldon.

Best pop-up we have had at one of our events! Excellent communication in the build-up and the team arrived early with plenty of time to prepare. Super friendly team always more than happy to help The food is of a very high standard and presented very well. Fantastic choice of menu. Ostrich burger is out of this world and the brookie desserts were talked about by all guests. Superb value for money and leftovers boxed up to take home. Definitely, be using again!

Great little shop for coffee, cakes, snacks and drinks oh and did I mention cakes and just in case I forgot to mention they do cakes, the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had, my personal favourite is the coffee and walnut.High Ongar is a beautiful quaint quiet little village well worth visiting and stopping at coffee post is a must.

After seeing lots of great reviews of this place, we decided to give it a go. Ordered over the phone, was told 15 minuets it would ready...perfect. Went to collect the order, a dark, no lights premises between another take-away and a off-licence!! Not sure where the friendly staff were that night, mustve been off I guess. Got home with our food, I had half chicken, well mustv'e been the skinniest chicken I've ever seen! Wraps were okay, nice chips and the flavour of the peri peri chicken was lovely. May give it another go in the future when they have spent some money on lighting and fed their chickens a bit more corn.
