The best restaurants in East of England

Got introduced to this absolute gem of a café by my dad, went for lunch last week and was not disappointed. Incredible food with massive portions for a very reasonable price, staff greeted us through the door, were very polite and kept the place looking fantastic. If you're short on places to go for a great meal, then you're missing out on the best café in Hoddesdon.

Finally visited and can't wait to return. Wonderful service from really friendly staff. Delicious Thai lunch. Sitting by the river in the sun. What more could you want. It's just such a lovely spot. Search it out, it's worth it. But there's only a couple more days of the season. We'll have to be patient and wait for the spring to return. Can't wait!

Had a burger and loaded fries from here last night when they were parked up at the crown. Categorically the best burger I have ever eaten and the nacho cheese fries were amazing. Gutted it's your last week there.

This is a family run restaurant with good tasty meals on offer, and a Sunday Roast special each week. Also quite often a genuine Pie and Mash day!! The prices are very good, and there is some outside seating available. Give it a try.

Went here for the first time on our latest trip to Felixstowe and we are so glad we did.Lovely food, freshly cooked and reasonably priced.Very friendly staff and everything i watched being freshly prepaired looked delicious.Myself and my Son had a lovely breakfast ( mine complete with granary toast), my partner had ham, egg and chips which looked lovely and my daughter had a jacket potato and as she couldn't finish it they kindly packaged it up for her to take away.Would love to visit again when in town.

This place serves excellent fish and chips...well cooked, presented and good sized portions. Friendly service and would recommend a visit.

Really like this little place. I like the ladies behind the counter who are always friendly and welcoming. I like the cakes, delicious. I like the relaxing atmosphere. It's great.

Estaba muy sorprendido por la comida en YamYam ir! Normalmente no soy el mayor fan de la comida asiática, normalmente me encuentro un poco grasienta y prefiero más fresca, pero tampoco alimentos cata de manera pensé que le daría a este restaurante un ir mientras yo estaba en Cambridge. No es grasiento y gustos realmente fresco! Tuve el pollo teriyaki con arroz y sin duda lo recomendaría a cualquiera que esté pensando en ir; tenía mucho sabor!

Had a lovely machine decaf coffee at ‘World Peace Cafe’. They do vegan and gluten free as well! Cosy and quiet after shopping! The lovely plants give a great atmosphere…loved the unusual music! Takeaway coffee for £1.50 and a huge tea cake for £1.

Joven cocinero con comida muy bien preparada y presentada. Nos quedamos muy impresionados con los platos. Buen servicio y precios muy razonables para la calidad de la comida.

We went here for a coffee and ended up having one off their excellent scones. Tea was a little weak, but then I like strong tea, coffee was very good. Cakes looked lovely and fresh They also do sandwiches cooked breakfast soup. what I saw off it all looked very fresh and well presented. Staff were a little slow in making drinks so dont go if you are in a rush. Just enjoy the place. It was not nosisy.
