Perfect pub with lovely good value homemade food (steak pie choca block full of yummy tender meat) so dog friendly & 💯 welcoming to us as first timers here. Wonderful atmosphere with an amazing selection of drinks. The bar staff made us feel right at home! Couldn’t recommend this boozer any more :)

Great coffee shop to rival the big chains. Superb coffee and pastries, too. Queued a little on Saturday morning, which is always a good sign of its popularity. I love the chairs facing out through the windows towards the passing shoppers. People watching at its best. Thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee at this lovely cafe.

We come here regularly for a Sunday roast and the best in the area! Deans cauliflower cheese is amazing and always gives you more! Most places you have to pay additional for cauliflower cheese! Only thing in my opinion that would make the roast even more spectacular is roast parsnips! We absolutely love the atmosphere, the friendly staff and food is brilliant. Staying in Lincoln. From Dartmouth in South Devon. Heard about the sign of the fish so had to try them. Best fish and chips I've tasted both fish( light crispy batter) and chips 1st class. Far better than posh fish & chips shops in South Devon. What a fantastic price. Quality products. Well done to the staff who served me with a smile. I will return

Excellent food. All homemade nothing disappoints working my way through the menu .. liver and bacon is my favourite. The gammon is divine and mixed grill is awesome make sure your hungry.. exceptional value for money ... Lovely friendly staff. My favourite place to eat by far five star ⭐.

We have been regular customers at Fish King and must comment on Saturday's food received. It was well below the standard normally received, in way chips tastied strange, and vinegar present, when not requested. Furthermore, the fish had limited flavour compared to normal, and finally, the pie pastry was extremely hard. I hope these comments are taken on board so the standard is returned to normal.

My sister and I came in this afternoon straight away as soon as we walked in we were greeted with a pleasant smile.

. . . what a delightful place, escape. A friendly welcome with loads of homemade food on the menu. We chose the broccoli and cheese quiche; delicious and accompanied with coleslaw and salad. It was lovely to see others enjoying the same. We will definitely return and thoroughly recommend.
