Great pub with great staff and great live music.

Lovely pub with a nice welcome.

Looks run down externally, however it was clean inside with all the usual basics, plus sport on 2x large tvs. (If you like that kind of thing). The bar staff were chatty and polite and the beer prices were VERY reasonable. Due to this, and we'd just done a 6 mile trail run, we stayed for 2 reasonable pints of cask ale. It was very quiet when we went in at 3:30, but had livened up by the time we left at 4:45

Went to watch a band. Lovely little pub with a miners Welfare vibe. Drinks were good value and atmosphere was great

Had a wonderful evening. Celebrating their 10th anniversary. Great stage in there for a great band The WonderWhys. Fantastic knees up. Was heaving to the rafters. Dancing and singing. Fantastic staff. What more can I say.

What can I say about the shinnon the best pub in hepthorne lane, had some bad choices of landlords in the past but now this is what this pubs needed for a long time Ian & jo are amazing good beer good atmosphere good bands on & clean! Keep up the good work

Absolutely brilliant local pub. Nice interior but it's real plus is a brilliant atmosphere and superb landlord and staff. You will always be made welcome by regulars and staff and everybody is happy to talk.
