We have had some excellent food in here esp the fish and chips. Its far better quality that some of the more expensive gastro pubs nearby really recommend it

Great breakfast very good service and value for money

I ordered a burger and chips over the phone and on the menu it was priced at £5.20. When I went to collect it the girl said it was £8. I questioned the price and the owner said I must have been looking at the price list for Bugbrooke takeaway, Litchborough. I looked again when I got home and it was £5.20. The burger and chips was nice but just be aware prices aren't up to date. The owner didn't charge me the £8 I paid £6 and he was pleasant enough about it but this could be confusing for customers ordering food from menu on the website.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch, Pork with stuffing, apple sauce, roast potatoes and Yorkshire, separate dish of veg, extra gravy. It was really delicious. Such a shame that the pub is closing at the end of the month as no-one will take over the lease. Have been going to this pub for over 40 years, had many family get togethers here & my father who lives in the village will really miss his fish & chips. Hopefully someone will take it over before too long.

Absolutely delicious chicken Kebabs. Full of succulent meat and salad. Tasty dressing. Would definately recommend this establishment. Friendly helpful and will definately be going here again.
