Everything about our visit today was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely amazing too. The Red Lion offers everything that you could hope for in a pub, even offering treats and fresh water, should you bring your dog. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

love to visit this fish and chip shop, their service is amazing and so is the food. There is a range of different options on the menu not just fish and chips which gives every member of the family more than one option on what they would like to eat. My second recent visit here, the first being 2 of us, last night was 11 of us for a friends special birthday. Liaising with pre-orders was great but flexible for the birthday girl to order on the day. The food was all really good and came together, my calamari starter was one of the best I have had and my King Prawns were massive. Little touches like storing the birthday cake for us went the extra steps. Staff were really friendly. I will be back

There were four of us. How lovely to have table service which is becoming so rare these days. The young man was lovely and was on his own and had to work the bar, run food and take orders. Did a brilliant job. The food was very good. Tasty and good value for money. Been looking for somewhere to take my family and friends when they visit from various parts of the country and finally found a place. So definitely going back.

This place is absolutely fantastic. We were visiting friends and popped down the road for some drinks and snacks.. such a happy surprise. Quality of the food and cocktails (accidentally ended up finishing up a bottle of Tattinger as well), was up there with some lovely wine bars we have been to in Europe and the weather to match it this weekend. Bettet than so many Wine and Cocktail bars in London.. Lovely atmosphere and run so well by the two lovely ladies. Will definitely have to visit our friends more just to come back here !!

A really lovely place! Everything about it. The service, the food, the atmosphere. I went today with my 6 month son and 2 friends (who also bathe had babies in pushchairs) three adults, three pushchairs takes up a lot of room but as soon as we entered we was greeted by a lovely staff member who couldn’t of been more helpful. She offered to move tables and chairs in order to get us in. Once we were in she did everything she could to insure we had enough room and was comfortable. Upon ordering food nothing was too much trouble, everything was made fresh and tasted lovely. All the cakes looked amazing! Upon leaving again she couldn’t have been more helpful making it as easy as possible for us to get the pushchairs out. This isn’t my first time visiting and on every occasion the service has always been phenomenal. Great service, a place il be taking all my friends and family! 100% recommend

Great bread not doughy makes lovely toast n never ill as have ibs n bad stomach n can't eat bread normally so this does it for me so I can get to eat my toast yippee freezes well too very light n tastes gd all I can say is thanku as after 17 yrs of bn ill with bakery products I can now eat your white tin bread with jam delicious 😄

Soggy chips with soggy fish, literally covered in oil that smells disgusting. packaging looked promising but that’s it…

Thursday lunchtime and nice and busy, had the turkey ciabatta and my wife the sweet potato, both came with roast potatoes and grave, delicious and excellent value at £8.50 each, lovely staff.

Good atmosphere and food excellent. Service not good, an hour and a half wait as staff seemed busy getting take away orders out as priority. We had booked our table so managers must have known the number of people who would be sitting at all the tables and needing serving. Also drinks got forgotten. Staff seemed to be overworked.
