The best restaurants in Holbeach Town South Holland East Midlands

A very warm welcome, friendly staff, a wonderful selection of amazing cakes at the counter and a comprehensive and sensibly priced menu. It was lunchtime but my son had the full English breakfast (available all day) and an Amaretto Milkshake (he said it was the best thing he's ever tasted) and I had a tea and hot sausage sandwich on white sourdough bread. Couldn't fault it at all - freshly cooked and spot on.

We ordered the £7.50 per head option for some customers we had visiting. It was the first time we have used Munch box for this service and it was outstanding. We order breakfast from the Munch box quite regularly so it was no surprise that the lunch option was brilliant. Highly recommend to visit if you want fresh, tasty, homemade food. Have eaten in restaurant and had a great experience. Ordered takeaway it's was delivered promptly ,food was fresh and really hot. Could nit fault the meal absolutely lovely .Highly recommend

The food was lovely, well cooked and perfectly spiced. All arrived piping hot. The waiters were friendly and efficient. The decor is very pretty, lovely etched glass scenes separate the dining tables along 1 wall. Our only slight negative was the tables are all quite close and we went on a Friday night so very crowded and noisy. We'd definitely go again because the food and staff were lovely, but we'd pick a quieter night.

would love to see a delivery service to long sutton and sutton bridge in future.

I swear down I’m really cool and so is Millie’!!!! We’ve had a very chilled weekend away but it’s been so much fun thanks to the staff (Millie). The owner is supper accommodating and honestly we’ve had a lovely weekend!!! Highly recommend this place, the staff& Amy!!!

People very friendly and helpful

The food was excellent and was able to bring our own drinks which is usually the biggest portion of the bill. Great choice on the menu and staff very helpfull is describing each dish. Parking easy acrss the street or behind the Co-Op.

What a polite response from staff and customers, Food was piping hot 🔥 Service was pleasant and warming. Would definitely be re visiting soon. Also Like there's raffle they have on the go for Easter.

Well done to all the staff at The Crown today a delicious lunch today. I had the Pork Chop which was cooked to perfection. Others had the crown burger and the nacho burger both fantastic. The cheesecake is always amazing, today’s choice was buenno. The bailies and banana trifle was excellent and I had plum crumble. We hope to be back soon

Ordered delivery waited hour and half after two calls saying be there in a minute came cold won't be using again the salad was warmer than the pizza that being bbq chicken but I think should call it olive and onion as bugger all chicken

Had takeaway and the food and service was great, and very reasonably priced.

I had an awful time. There was a puddle of random juice all over my chair. The beer was flatter than any beer I've ever had. If I had a choice I would rather eat out of their bin than from there rat infested kitchen. The place should be irradicated from our local area. I thought to go back again in hopes that I had misjudged the place, but this time was also a travesty. There was a fight between two patrons that ended up smashing a plate. The waiter tried to break it up, in doing so he was hit in the face. So he made the genius executive decision to join in the brawl. This place shouldn’t be called The Horse and Groom, it should be called the Horse of Doom.

This fish and chip shop was great after the renovation we were using at least once a week over the period the quality of the food especially the chips started to deteriorate we stopped going to the shop for a while but today decided that takeaway cod and chips for dinner would be good Well when got home l could not believe the food was so poor the chips were basically inedible and l think probably reheated from before the cod’s were very flat batter poor and frankly tasteless at the price of fish and chips these days you have a right to expect better. How this place has deteriorated over time is amazing they should be ashamed to sell food in this condition.

Rather disappointed by the service, unhelpful and rude. Bacon was dry and had been cooked sometime earlier. Did not help the front staff being downright rude. Shall not be in any hurry to use them again.
