Really good food, delivery was right on time too :)

Chicken Satay was disappointing, so overpowered by Soy Sauce and no obvious peanut taste won't order that again, other dishes were ok.

We ordered a collection here and the food was absolutely amazing, not too salty like you usually get and not greasy at all! The prawn crackers where the best I’ve ever had. We came all the way from Sutton bridge as our usual was closed and we will definitely be coming again

Ordered meal at around 1915. Food never arrived until 2150. Tried to cancel, was told unable as no contact with delivery driver. Food arrived cold and too late to eat. Shanghai, last time we come to you for food.

The worst food & customer service at premium prices.... I am sure the duck had died of natural causes many months ago and feel this may also be the case as far as their chef is concerned RIP... I highly recommend The Golden Kitchen a little further down the road... they provide delicious fresh food, cooked to perfection and excellent customer service. I very much look forward to seeing the forthcoming FSA & EMH reports on my desk and actioning appropriate measures, thus saving the general public any further disappointment. Merry Christmas everyone x

I had sweet and sour chicken ball's but they was inedible due to the thickness of the outside coating, this was soft and doughy and really thick, making it very unpleasant to eat.

Most of the food, as usual, was top notch. However the prk curry was luke warm and the chips over cooked. Not enough to put us off though. Disappointed by charges for bag, service and delivery.

This Shanghai garden Holbeach takeaway, used for years great, but last time rotten duck waiting to be pick up by council, disgusting attitude and no refund , avoid avoid avoid, couldn't care less when I rang to complain won't never use again

Only late as we are staying somewhere difficult to find! The food arrived piping hot and was the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. Would definitely recommend.

First time used this restaurant lovely hot food.

Overall tasty but I've ordered plain noodles and they arrived with beansprouts and onions which my child doesn't like. Chicken balls were too crisp and tough, almost as if they were refried. Food also arrived late which only added to the frustration.

Wasn’t the best, wasn’t the worst. Chips came in a plastic box which made them soggy, maybe changing to a paper bag would resolve this. Food wasn’t exactly hot and the squid was difficult to eat. Curry sauce was good! Rice a bit salty. Lots of pineapple in the sweet and sour pork.

Ordered through the app…Restaurant accepted but wouldn’t deliver to our address and then passed onto another restaurant…upon calling new restaurant and explained food was late they said it was on its way…then changed their mind and actually it isn’t on its way and the driver is leaving at that moment but would be a further 20 minutes as they have other deliveries ahead of us (made us feel great)…food other than the satay chicken was cold…wrong appetiser was sent to us so all in all a really bad experience and have lost confidence in the delivery service… why does the Holbeach restaurant accept the delivery if they don’t deliver to us…all could have been avoided if they had called us and cancelled the order! We require a full refund for this shambles tonight.

Best Chinese in the area! The portions are generous and the food itself is so tasty. The delivery staff have always been really lovely and polite. Our order has only been late one time due to a staff shortage, and the staff called us to let us know and were so apologetic and kind. Food still came hot and fresh! Would definitely recommend.

We ordered from the holbeach branch which was switched to the Spalding branch and wasn’t told about it. the food was cold and flavourless and tasted like it was reheated and after spending more then £50 you expect prawn crackers so when we called the person on the phone they where so rude it was unbelievable

Food was lovely and it was nice to receive a realistic delivery time for a Saturday night. Even nicer for it to then be 30 mins early! Makes a change.

Order placed and paid for £35. Promised delivery for around 19.30 to 20.00. At 20.30 I chased the order. Placed with Holbeach branch who advised they had transferred to Spalding branch. Called Spalding who had not received the order. After much messing around, order finally arrived at 21.30. My daughter was asleep and I had bought it as part of her birthday present. Food was cold.

Waited over 2 hours for a delivery (supposed to be an hour and 15, which is long enough) to then find the chow mein covered in oil leaving a layer of oil in the bottom of the tub, chicken balls with gooey batter on the inside and the most unflavoured salt and pepper chicken, will not be ordering again and will stick with Good Earth in future

Usually good food and service, but new person at the desk or on the phone and couldn't be bothered to deliver to us as we're now too far out. Been fine for the last two and a half years. Explained this to the guy, but had a really bad attitude and said it was basically tough....!!! Lost a very regular customer......

Had Chinese last night had some left over for today and there was egg shell in it not a little bit so I rang them to complain and got told sometimes it happens so if your ordering egg fried rice please be aware not impressed at all I didn’t even get an apology

OK...the delivery was 1 hour late..however I did ring and ask why ? They were working with 1 less driver. However the food was absolutely gorgeous piping hot 🔥 and yes I tipped the driver who was apologetic. Would very much recommend Shanghi . Thanks Guys . Regards Dan

Amazing food always great would have again

Food was pre-ordered for 6.30pm, but didn’t arrive until very nearly 7.15pm. I called the restaurant at 6.52pm asking where the food was as the order tracker that had said the food was out for delivery from 6pm had changed to “enjoy your food”. I was told the order was five minutes away. The food was still fairly hot and I couldn’t fault the quantity and quality. The delivery driver advised me to ignore the tracker facility on the app. Overall, the food was good, but the service and delivery time was disappointing.

Absolutely awful service from management . I paid using the text app got a conformation text to say it had gone through and was also on my bank statement however was refuse my food untill I paid again as they said it hadn’t gone through , thought that ok mistake can happen so waited a bit but after so long still had gone though according to them and I was basically call a lair and if it wasn’t for the fact I had 3 hungry children I would of cancel it however had to then pay in cash to be allowed the food I thought I already paid for and they said the first for order would be cancelled and if the money was taken I would get it back however 1 week on and still haven’t had it back so basically paid for Chinese twice .. quite a reasonable person and I totally understand mistake happen however the customer service I received was so disheartened and disappointing and really not necessary to a paying customers

Late every time, this time round i was sworn at by the “receptionist” & threatened. This is extremely un professional, this matter will be taken further

Mid Last time we will be ordering from this place. You'd expect your food to come with extras that you ordered but we didn't. After speaking to the owner, who claims we lied about not having any packed, we don't feel comfortable enough to put another order through.Its not much to say "sorry" but we were dealt with in such a rude manner. Prior to today's rubbish, we've had previous issues with this place making basic mistakes with our food that comes back overdone or too salty anyway. If this is how they chose to treat their regulars after months of ordering... appalled. No thanks.

I’ve used this Chinese since moving to Holbeach. Lovely staff on the front desk. You can ring a place an order or walk in and have a seat whilst they cook your food. They also have a website which allows you to order food for either deliver or collection. They accept card and cash which is a bonus as so many places don’t accept cash anymore. Quick delivery times unless it’s a Saturday night which is understandable. The only downside is the parking outside the front, it’s all double yellows so unless your going late at night it’s not a problem. Overall lovely food and lovely staff.
