Delicious food for all the family and a super relaxed and comfortable restaurant. We really enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to return!

A well stocked community shop with wide range of food and household essentials. Run by local volunteers. Also a cafe where you can have scones, cakes and drinks. Cheese and fruit scones were delicious, accompanied by hot drinks. Good value for money Seating both inside and out with easy access from the car park. One small step to go into cafe.

Stumbled across this Japanese restaurant when we were wandering around Oakham. It took us by surprise, the food was absolutely delicious. I've eaten a fair amount of Japanese food and this was one of the best. A little gem.

This is a wonderful cafe and well worth a visit, even if you’re not staying at the campsite. The food was great, freshly prepared for a range of options for different diets/needs. They also adapted items for our children. Very reasonably priced given the quality of food, service was fantastic. A really nice evening sitting out in the garden of the house. Also, a cat came to visit us, which was nice.

I can't recommend the Hare and Hog enough, excellent speciality coffee, wonderful food made with award winning cured meats made on site, special evening events, and free parking, what more could you ask for! A real hidden gem of Oakham, and one of the few places open in the area on a monday.

This was a great place to stop for Sunday lunch whilst staying in the area. All the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and the food was delicious

A hidden gem and a brilliant addition to Oakham. The menu is really imaginative and offers a great variety of dishes. Food is good value and utterly delicious. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great place, highly recommended.

Not bad. Choose a fancied named breakfast bap, polished it off in 4 bites, but tasted good. Spent the next 5 minutes, looking longingly at my fiancées "purgotory eggs," which was a massive serving. Service was fast and friendly. Would probably go again, but it's probably my first and last visit to oakham.

Chef special is the best choice wn u r unsure of wt to eat. Enjoyed the saag and chicken tikka. Top notch
