A hidden gem and a brilliant addition to Oakham. The menu is really imaginative and offers a great variety of dishes. Food is good value and utterly delicious. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Really lovely little place in the middle of the industrial estate. Immaculate, modern and smart. We called in for coffee and breakfast before walking by the canal and it was great. Friendly service too. Deserves to do well. Lunchtime sandwiches and salad looked excellent.

First time visiting the kitchen after being fans of Romi Cafe. We have friends who love this place and they totally lived up to the hype. Such a relaxed & intimate atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing owners and even more amazing food. Throughout the evening you can hear other tables raving about their food too. Every single dish was plated so pretty! You can really see the amount of time,effort,energy & skill they’ve put in to this place. We hadn’t even left the place before deciding when to come back and what to try. Best donburi I’ve had EVER

Fantastic Asian food, authentic, served with care and great service. It's BYO, but plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available. Well worth a visit for a different, great tasting menu. It's on the old prison site, in a lovely modern setting.

Arriba en el concesionario de aperitivo final van de Harley Davidson en Sycamore Uppingham. Típico de hamburguesas, tocino butties y, sorprendentemente, pollo envuelve. He utilizado varias veces cuando se viaja por trabajo y siempre reciben una comida estupenda y un servicio amable. Altamente recomendado.

2C Mill StreetAmazing food, friendly staff and good coffee. Quaint small space but didn’t feel cramped. Unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of my food so I’ll have to come back.

2 Burley RoadA member of our party is coeliac so we called in advance to book and were quickly put at ease by the staffs knowledge of how to handle cross contamination. Upon arriving the chef and owner came out to speak to us about how he’d prepared our food first thing this morning before anything else, had put on a separate fryer for anything we’d want to try, and discussed how he could adapt the menu to allow us to have items not marked as gluten free too! The menu had several options to choose from and a very nice pub sized meal was enjoyed. The owner then came out after to check we were happy with our meal asking questions to help better educate himself as well on how he could improve in the future. The food industry would be much better for people with illnesses/ allergies if every owner took the time like Mike did to speak to members of the community and understand how they can do better to cater for more people. Would certainly recommend and we’re confident this place will only get better.
