Wow this place is amazing.food is absolutely 10/10 will definitely be back,travelled from Nottingham to this place and honestly worth the drive,you might have to book a table as gets busy but worth it and really good prices.

Had a lovely lunch here - food all freshly cooked/prepared. Great bacon sandwich and smashed avocado/poached egg on toast. My ploughman's board was excellent. Was very busy which was good! Would definitely recommend 👌

Stopped here as we were looking for a light bite to eat before football. We had the homemade chips which were absolutely gawjus, a scone each, Hubby had chutney, I had Jam & cream. The Jam & chutney both appear homemade which adds to the taste, more unique. The coffee was really good 👍 The setting is homely, surrounded by really old bottles of expensive wine, making me wish my Credit Card had a higher limit 🙃 A really nice place to stop off and have a break

Nice outdoor seating area, drinks were good value and the staff were friendly.

We had a festive catchup with friends on 16th December. Lovely time. Chris looked after us so well, perfect host and everything was lovely. Brunch was delicious, recommend the open sandwiches. We look forward to visiting again with friends. All the best with the refurb and heres to XII being a huge success. Merry Christmas 🎄

Ordered a takeaway in the restaurant at 7, told to come back and collect in 45 minutes. Went back and waited, and at 8.05 I asked where it was. 5-6 minutes I was told. 25 minutes later, after I asked for my money back, didn’t want to wait any longer, it appeared. They were so busy, why they kept accepting orders I do not know. My meal was terrible, worse curry I have ever had, my wife said hers was tasteless. I have given 3 stars because our friends said their meal was lovely. Sad because I have used this restaurant for years, but won’t be going back again.

We had a fantastic stay, free parking is always a bonus, we had a full breakfast which was order at the table, a great choice of food for every dietary need, the food was cooked fresh and was delicious. We will definitely choose to eat here again.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a chocolate Afternoon Tea, having previously only ordered online. Keith had prepared a superb Tea with delicious fresh sandwiches, cakes, berries, chocolate scones, tea amd bubbles! We took some of it home to savour later that day. It was a pleasure to meet the man behind the brand and to wish him and his family well for the future. They are open for another couple of weeks - highly recommended! Thank you.
