Lovely service with young girl, she was very helpful! Just popped in for a burger after a long journey but sometimes a kind face is all you need.

Coffee at No.9 in Mawsley is an absolute gem! Heather and Luke have created such a welcoming little spot — the breakfasts are seriously amazing, with everything fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. And the coffee? Easily some of the best around — smooth, strong, and just what you need to start your day right. The whole vibe is so friendly and relaxed, you feel at home as soon as you walk in. If you’re anywhere near Mawsley, definitely pop in and see them — you won’t be disappointed!

We paid £55.45 for a delivered takeaway. It turned up nearly an hour late after being delivered to the wrong address. The food was cold, and part of the order was missing. This is not the first time we have had issues with this place. I've been overcharged before, and items have been forgotten to be placed in my order, which necessitated my returning to the restaurant after I was nearly home. Being busy on a Saturday night is not an excuse. This is terrible service.

On a sunny day like today it's perfect to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view across the valley. Food is good, as is the coffee. Will visit again. Highly recommend.

Brilliant village pub with friendly staff and regulars seem friendly. Lexi and didn't catch the blokes name behind the bar both friendly and would definitely visit again soon whether in the area or just a random day out. Thanks from Chris from Birmingham

We had a great meal, for us it is about more than just the food - which was great by the way - but also the welcome, the service and the atmosphere. All were 5* for our visit.

Hadn't booked for a Saturday lunch but the manager still found us a table almost instantly. Happy to accommodate the dog, the servers were all smiley and friendly, their service was fantastic, the food was excellent (cheese soufflé 👌) and a lovely walk afterwards. Go, you won't regret it

Having been year on many occasions and always enjoyed the afternoon tea we returned for my daughter-in-laws birthday. The standard has dropped but the price has increased considerably. We had 3 afternoon teas. They no longer serve Assam tea - just English breakfast. No Macarons- my favourite and the tiny cakes and pastries had very little flavour. The cakes and pasties used to be exquisite! We treated ourselves to a cocktail each. When it came to paying the bill, VAT and a service charge were added (we were not given a choice of an OPTIONAL service charge) this took our bill to £190 for 3 average afternoon teas and 3 cocktails!! Needless to say I will not return

First time ordering from Far East but unfortunately we won't be ordering again. Everything was well over seasoned, too much salt and sugar in most dishes. Seaweed was far too sweet and full of sugar, chicken in yellow bean sauce was far too salty, my partner couldn't finish it and this has been his favourite for years. I always order a hot & sour soup whenever I have a Chinese and this was inedible, tasted nothing like it should, worst one ive ever had. It smelt odd, like strong black pepper and tasted like it too, unfortunately I couldn't eat it. Also I must mention the egg fried rice!? Where was the egg? This also smelt and tasted like pre-made packet rice you put in the microwave. I feel you really need to adjust your ingredients.

Excellent fish and chips. Cooked to order. The best I have had for a very long time. I Will definitely order from here again.
