Lovely service with young girl, she was very helpful! Just popped in for a burger after a long journey but sometimes a kind face is all you need.

Heather and Luke are just wonderful people who care so much about the village and community they serve. Amazing chai Latte’s as always! Lots of alternative milks and will happily add or remove anything you don’t fancy! Well done guys. Keep up the great work!

Online it says its opened until 16:30. Went there hungry for a breakfast just to get to the door and saying it's closed! Well done for wasting me a 20min drive each way

We paid £55.45 for a delivered takeaway. It turned up nearly an hour late after being delivered to the wrong address. The food was cold, and part of the order was missing. This is not the first time we have had issues with this place. I've been overcharged before, and items have been forgotten to be placed in my order, which necessitated my returning to the restaurant after I was nearly home. Being busy on a Saturday night is not an excuse. This is terrible service.

Normally very good but tonight was awful The fish I think was reheated as very tough to cut and fish grey

Brilliant village pub with friendly staff and regulars seem friendly. Lexi and didn't catch the blokes name behind the bar both friendly and would definitely visit again soon whether in the area or just a random day out. Thanks from Chris from Birmingham

Really delicious lunch with plenty of choice. Lovely staff and owners who are very knowledgeable about both their food and the history of the building. Professional without being pretentious. Highly recommended.

The venue was wonderful and the staff delightful, but the quality of food for festive afternoon tea was very poor. The sandwiches were just ok, scones overcooked and the cakes tasteless at £42 pp it is very poor value , I expected so much more.

Coffee machine not working and when asked for tea they could not do that either ( must be made from the coffee machine, the place obviously doesn't have a kettle!) Asked for cranberry and mint sauce but they didn't have that either. Beef was fatty and chicken looked anaemic. Will not return

Just a great place to eat or drink local ales and local fresh food what's not to like
