India 2 Mawsley in Kettering

We paid £55.45 for a delivered takeaway. It turned up nearly an hour late after being delivered to the wrong address. The food was cold, and part of the order was missing. This is not the first time we have had issues with this place. I've been overcharged before, and items have been forgotten to be placed in my order, which necessitated my returning to the restaurant after I was nearly home. Being busy on a Saturday night is not an excuse. This is terrible service.

Decent curry , very consistent and the staff are incredibly friendly . Good value during the week but it's not expensive anytime to be honest .

India 2 Mawsley produces consistently good Indian food. No hesitation taking our friends here. Service is always friendly.

We are extremely lucky to have such an amazing authentic restaurant, with such an incredibly high standard of quality Indian cuisine. The team at India 2 Mawsley take so much pride in their work which is evident in everything they do. But tonight they raised the bar. Not only was the food delicious, I had mentioned to the owner that I was cooking a fried breakfast for my wife in the morning but unfortunately our One Stop shop had run out of eggs! It was a passing comment and I thought nothing more about it. Arriving homes with my takeaway, I had an extra carton. On inspection, the owner took it upon himself to place four fresh eggs in our order. With a simple message. Enjoy your breakfast. It’s the simplest things that make a massive difference. Thank Indian to Mawsley. 👏

Had Indian food from here regularly for the last 5 years, tremendous food and a small intimate restaurant. It really is worth it.

We had a delicious take away from here last night, full of flavour, fresh and perfect. We will look forward to our next visit to Mawsley to have another!

I'll start the review by saying we didn't even eat our meals, they were actually disgusting. The chicken pathia was vile! It's always my favourite at our regular Indian but with mild sweetness and medium spice. This tasted like someone made a curry and poured a jar of cheap sweet and sour pasta sauce in it. The chicken tikka starter actually tasted musty, and the onions topping it were old and not fresh. Chicken very dry. The garlic nan doesn't at all taste of garlic, and the vindaloo was also disgusting. Prawn cocktail starter, lettuce covered in a warm seafood sauce and warm prawns. Rubbery texture and sauce discoloured. Mint yoghurt dip was honestly like yoghurt watered down with added sugar and a slight (tiny bit) of mint added. We just moved to the area and wanted to try our new local indian but, oh my.. never again. This place is a disgrace. And that's being nice. Very dissatisfied and wasted slot of money on something we couldn't even stomach eating, and I generally eat everything and anything. But this wasn't edible.

Have had a few curries from here over the years. Been hit and miss but today was the worst ones yet. Late to deliver so we had to ring to see where it was (not the biggest issue as understand weekend night will be busy), the bag had split when it arrived so half the sauce from the curries was in the bag. It wasn’t hot, not really even warm and was really dry. Will be sticking to others from now.

Aweful chicken tasted like it was microwave curry, naan bread was not home made it was brought from a supermarket very poor would never recommend this take away. Taste of India is so much fresher home made naan. Seems mawsley wants to serve crap and make money from us. Certainly not fresh food. Poppodoms stale

Our favourite Indian and we have tried alot over the years. SO tasty and you can actually taste the specific ingredients whereas some currys we have had can taste very similar whatever you order. Really good quality food every time.

First time eating from India 2 Mawsley with friends tonight and great food all round. Ordered a take away to collect and well presented, packed with flavour and no grease.

Great food, staff are top aswell, usually we have it delivered but have been in to eat. Small in there, little noisy on Friday night as expected but worth it 👍👍

We often have a takeaway from, or dine in, at this little restaurant. We always find the staff courteous, friendly and efficient. The restaurant is very nicely and tastefully appointed. The food is always excellent and portions generous. The menu has a wide choice of Indian and English dishes. We feel very fortunate in having India2Mawsley in our village.

India 2 Mawsley never let you down! Amazing food. Lovely friendly staff. Go the extra mile every visit. Big portion sizes too! Mid week banquet always a good one! Great value for money! Couldn’t recommend enough!

A really good little Indian restaurant. It makes me hungry thinking about the wonderful food. Amazing to find a place this good in a small village.

Went on an off chance. Quite a small seating area so larger tables might want to book. Food very good and quite a variety. Friendly service and take away available. Reasonably priced

Whether it’s a meal in the lovely retauarant or a take away- the food is always delicious, great flavours and definitely value for money. The Banquet nights are feasts not to be missed- so much food for £11.95! Friendly staff and efficient even when it gets very busy!

My wife and I use India To Mawsley around once a month for many years. Usually for a Take a way but we have also eaten in the restaurant and can recommend the Chicken Tikka, Tikka Korai and Chicken Tikka Balti. The Mushroom Bhaji is delicious.

We dined here last night with friends. Excellent service and delicious food. We are really pleased to have such a fab Indian restaurant, right on our doorstep. Thoroughly recommended!

First time here with friends,what can say the food was outstanding,freshly cooked to perfection,nice clean restaurant,the only downside was the service was bit slow but they were very busy so that's understandable but it was worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Me and the girls booked here for a girls night out and it was lovely . Highly recommended, the food was great and the service was wonderful , the staff were so helpful and friendly, we had a lovely evening and I definitely will be booking in the near future .

Me and my partner regularly visit here as it's our local and it's superb, the food is amazing and the service we receive here is incredible, the staff are always friendly and are always willing to help, plus we use the takeaway service which is excellent.

This is such a friendly restaurant. The staff really go out of their way for you. The menu is very extensive. And the food is probably the freshest Indian food I have had anywhere. This is gem of a restaurant. Hidden in a gem of a Northamptonshire village. Once discovered added to my personal A list.

Takeaway prawn Balti....not nice at all. Tasted of curry powder, no veg apart from massive chunks of onion and one tiny bit of tomato. Didn't enjoy & wouldn't recommend. Lovely, friendly staff, but dish very disappointing.

Went in for a sit down meal a week or so ago, given plenty of time to decide on food, drinks were brought over quickly.

Me and my family eat from here all the time, this our favourite place to eat, we've eaton in the restaurant and have takeaways, our experiences have always been amazing staff are extremely helpful and friendly always asking how we all are, food is always cooked perfectly and is amazing in every way absolutely love it here! We've been loyal customers since day one and that will never change! We encourage all friends to come here and they just rave at how great it is here, a true gem!

Cannot recommend this place enough we are very fortunate to have this on our doorstep in Mawsley! We always have a great meal and are always welcomed with a smile. Our daughter loves to drawn and staff always have her colouring pens and paper and her favourite drink in a wine class The take away service is very efficient and always tastes as good as the restaurant! My husband and I along with some friends visit mawsley on a regular occasion, the staff are amazing and always know who we are. The food has always been to a high standard and very enjoyable. If ordering for a delivery, they always delivered earlier than expected. Food always hot and well cooked. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The only business to do delivery to the village. So a must to try and we was not disappointed. Always consistent tasty food and friendly delivery staff.

I ordered my chicken tiwa over phone, for collection, found staff friendly and collected food at time said to be ready. Staff was friendly and meal was good, will use again next week

Having had a couple of meals in the restaurant that were very good and very tasty. Price is for the food and wine is reasonable. However we found take away food a little greasy.

This little restaurant is really great and the service is great. The food is delicious. The staff friendly and helpful.

Waited two hours for food to arrive. Food was cold and tasteless. Definitely not worth the money! Dog on the other hand had a second supper. Not too impressed

With no where else local, this Indian is busy for the wrong reason.

I've eaten here twice now and had take-away once. The service is off-hand and borderline unfriendly. The takeaway got forgotten and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes- there was no apology and I had to pay for the drink I had while waiting. not good enough.

We always order takeaway food, it is always piping hot, wonderfully fragrant, mouth-watering and delicious. Staff are friendly and the service is spot on. I have yet to order a dish that disappointed.
