Usually order online and order is always done quickly and arrives hot.The owner, Mark recognises regular customers and adds extras for loyal customers which is nice. Genuinely sound bloke and great food.

Perfect, just perfect! Just been to the Co op car park in Southwell. My husband rang the order through. I’m one hungry mummy to be and these hit the spot! Beautiful batter that was perfectly crispy and excellent chips! We will be back! Highly recommend!

Brilliant hidden gem and very dog friendly. The Pit has recently changed hands the new owners are just brilliant keeping the atmosphere and clientele that the previous landlady created. Onwards and upwards... go to The Pit and see for yourself just how lovely it is!

Since discovering Steve's bar, I haven't felt the need to go into Nottingham anymore, as I currently feel quite unsafe there. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are incredibly hardworking, and the entertainment is fantastic, especially considering there are no other pubs in Mapperly Top with discos or live music. The drinks are reasonably priced and offer a good selection. I haven't personally tried the food, so I can't comment, but I've heard good things from family members. Like any pub, there might be the occasional disruptive customer, but the staff quickly address any issues. You go in as a customer and quickly become a regular. Both Steve and Andrew are wonderful people who make you feel very welcome.

Loved this country cafe and the bakery, the pastries are amazing and quite cheap. They have Sunday special and you get a free sausage roll when you buy a hot drink. Shop keeper couple was so friendly and helpful, thank you!

Visited this park last week with my mate , what a beautiful park lovely views . I’ve lived in Nottm all my life and never knew this park was here. I always visited other cities and their parks yet we have some man lovely ones here in Nottingham. I would certainly recommend visiting this park good for walks exercise dog walking kids cycling it’s for everyone.
