Excellent from arriving to leaving. We went for the lunch menu & its worth every penny. The customer service from the manager to julie who was attentive friendly and asked if everything was ok through the 3 courses. The quality of the food, portion sizes & presentation from the kitchen is amazing, lots of flavours . Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone for a pleasant experience

Always happy with food and service but today it was even better. In fact it was what I would expect from have a meal at Miller and Carter. Amazing services from Chris, steak expert. He was very knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful and friendly.

Had a fabulous time celebrating a retirement, our steak expert Nicola was fabulous, made our night very special, nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding, would highly recommend dining here whether you’re celebrating or just fancy a meal out. More than 5 stars from me

Leanne was the perfect waitress, chatted to us, very polite and friendly. The food cooked by Billy was also amazing!

The waitress was very friendly, helped us with our choices, and initially came to the table for a drinks order very promptly. Beyond that, after the food was served, by a different waitress, the service died down. This was a shame because the food, as we have experienced before, was not served very hot. Both the lamb and the beef were lukewarm. What made it more frustrating was the fact that at no point did anyone return to the table to ask how the food was or if there were any problems. We weren’t offered any replacement vegetables or gravy and no further drinks. I’m not blaming the original waitress, she was very busy in her area and had at least one large group of possibly over ten guests, but all the other staff, lead host and food server, literally made a point of not having any eye contact as they walked through. Aside from putting my hand up, or going to seek help I couldn’t get any staff over. Eventually, after about 45 minutes, by which point the lamb and beef were cold, the waitress returned to ask if we had finished. I explained that we hadn’t and asked if the meats could be reheated. This was done without fuss, but should/ could have been done 40 minutes earlier. A shame because overall the food is nice but the service tonight was a bit below expectation.

First time at this restaurant-won’t be the last. A bit pricey but excellent food and service so makes it worth it! Kirstie looked after us really well-so attentive. Thank you-made my husbands birthday a special day.

Dan was our server and I have to say he was brilliant. He gave us all the menu information, nothing was too much trouble, even boxed out dessert as we were too full. A real asset to restaurant.

We had a lovely Easter Sunday meal, Calamari, Sunday Sharing Board and Chocalate Block Sharer. All were amazing, the flavours that Miller and Carter create are mouth wateteringly good. Special nention to Kirsty and Chris who waited our table, both were very professional, friendly and could make great recommendations, especially on alcohol free mocktails and the desserts. Our meats were cooked just as we asked, and were very tender and bursting with flavour, so thanks go to Will who was the Grill Chief. We've eaten here on a number of occassions and never been disappointed with food or service. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful experience! We went out just for a beer, and we end up eating this amazing steak plate! Our steak expert today was Chris Lewis. He was very professional and he have us his recommendation about the food we're about to have. He explained in such a professional manner, that I've felt that I am in a cooking show. fantastic service from claudia and food was amazing

Awful experience, walked away before we even ordered. Shown to our table with a baby never offered a high chair and waiter just dropped menus on the table and walked off. The menus were the wrong ones, we had to ask for a high chair ourselves and then we was asked what we’d like to order, we asked for proper menus and then get the biggest eye roll I’ve ever seen. That was enough to walk out. Usually amazing here but gone massively downhill with the recent staff.

Me and my partner have been Miller & Carter Sherwood Forest countless times and have always been satisfied with the food and service. However this time we were dining with another couple who had not been to Miller and Carter before, so was taking our suggestions on what steaks to choose ext. Our waitress was called Claudia and she was a very sweet and well mannered young lady, who was helpful, professional and friendly. Claudia asked if we were celebrating anything tonight which I initially said no, however everyone else informed Claudia it was my birthday last Wednesday and its late birthday celebrations. Because we had a concert to attend at the 02 Arena we didn’t have any starters, we went straight onto mains and was not disappointed. Sebi who was our grill chef on the night, was told to say thank you from our table as the food was absolutely amazing! Later we was all full and satisfied so said no to desserts on this occasion although Claudia brought a dessert out with ‘Happy Birthday’ written on it in chocolate sauce which I was taken by surprise by, I thought this was a kind and caring gesture from Claudia despite my birthday being the previous Wednesday. We all took spoons out of the dessert and then paid the bill, which we had a discount code to use which was applied to the bill with no issues. Thank you Claudia for being a great waitress.

Good booking service with excellent welcome from the staff. Clean and pleasant surroundings. The menu was awkward to use and quite confusing, as was the bill which confused me even more with regards to the VAT. Also, I totally didn't get this iceberg wedge thing and some kind of onion/batter thing. The batter thing was OK, but I had no clue as to why I had a wooden bowl with some lettuce in it, with a chosen "sauce". I didn't know what to do with it, what to eat it with or even how to eat it... very alien. Would sooner have had a few seasonal veg like peas/broccoli etc.. very weird Then, there's the elephant in the room..price. £94 for 2 meals and 3 drinks is excessive, even in these ridiculous times of "let's charge what we want". I've had better steaks for half and 2/3rds of that cost and, no matter how it's branded and dished up, it's still 2 meals and 3 drinks, and it's pricey. 3 stars, as the service saved it somewhat, but I'll perhaps not be returning, mainly to the elevated costs.

Served by Krystian at 7 Mile on Sunday 13th April for my mums 85th birthday meal. He was friendly and helpful and attentive without being fussy ... spot on. Sorted wine order when he had been given wrong drinks by bar. 4 star on food ... not sure what the point of lettuce wedge is on the Sunday 3 course menu ... bit random

Kirstie was amazing with us and our 10 month old, kept him entertained every time she came over. Will cooked our food to perfection.

12th April. Lunchtime booking and Claudia was our steak expert and Jacob our grill chef. From start to finish the service was amazing, caring, thoughtful and helpful. The food was cooked to perfection with the most amazing taste sensation

We visited Your Restaurant on Saturday 12th April 2025 we had a table booked for 12:30 We were greeted by a lovely polite lady who was front of house manager who the showed us to an area and said we could choose where sat. We chose a window seat table the lady explained who we would be served by and who the chef was ( Jacob ) and if we had any problems they would be happy to sort them. A very polite lovely young lady came to our table and introduced herself as Claudia and explained a few things to us and took our drinks order we then looked through the menu and we chose our food. Claudia the took our order always smiling very polite and wished us a very enjoyable time at Miller & Carter Our Starters arrived and it was exceptional absolutely stunning as was the main course and dessert Claudia came over to check everything was ok again very polite and great eye contact smart and very talkative During the conversation Claudia found out it was my special day and wished me a happy birthday when desserts came she presented me with a beautiful plate with my dessert on and a few extras as a surprise which was lovely. Claudia and the front of house manager made our visit very special and one to remember and are a credit to the company We will be visiting again and will be requesting Claudia’s assistance again Well done Claudia and Thank you

Had the best time at Miller & Carter last night. Claudia was our waitress and she could not have been better. A little bit late but myself and my partner went to miller and carter on mother's day and was served by a lovely young lad called dan. He was polite, attentive, had a laugh with us and was just lovely couldn't do enough for you. Was absolutely brilliant a credit to that branch.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food and service is fantastic. It was worth every penny. The steaks were cooked to perfection with care and attention to detail. The sauces were unbelievably beautiful. The onion loaf is delicious. The marrow bone side dish is not to be missed! The cocktails were perfect. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return.
