We went with our daughter and friend and with our granddaughter we all had a marvellous time

The food was amazing, steaks were tender and didn't even need the sauce. The dessert was also delicious and they used vanilla beans for the crembrule. Definitely recommend.

Food was brilliant as was the Service. They drop a star on atmosphere as they push a smart casual dress code on the website but this was clearly not enforced as the majority of customers were not in smart casual. This is fine but don't push it on the website.

Great food, great ambience. Some lovely touches from the staff, who were very attentive. One or two things missing from order which were very quickly rectified.

Fantastic meal and a great atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our waitress Kirstie C was excellent despite embarrassing me for my birthday by singing with her colleagues 😳 in all the staff made my birthday meal out a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I would recommend the bone marrow side it was very tasty.

I was emailed the lunch rare treat menu So decided to book for my mother’s birthday lunch as the offer was very good. Once sat at the table we were only offered the full extensive steak experience menu, And not the special offer rare treat lunch menu as you had emailed to me previously the day before. I therefore had to ask for the menu which embarrassed me highly! When we asked for the menu, we were then given the menu, But I also noticed that None of the other diners in that section were offered the lunch menu only the extensive menu. We made fellow diners aware on the tables next to us that they could indeed request the special offer set menu, As to which they all did and all ordered from this menu. On leaving the restaurant. I made a the maitre D aware about not being offered the set lunch menu which had been emailed to me a few days prior., I was told by the maître D that this menu should’ve been presented to us, but I also told her that nobody in that section of the dining area had been offered the lunch menu unless they had requested it, Why email this offer to diners and then make them ask for it? The food is exceptional as always, but it really did annoy and embarrass me and make me feel like a second-class citizen that I had to ask for a menu which we could only afford. Do not email me offers and then not present them when I go to dine at your establishment. The only reason for choosing to dine with Miller and Carter because of the 28.95 three course menu as it’s such good value for money. On previous occasions, we have always been presented with the lunch menu as well as the extensive menu - I just feel this was done deliberately to make you order and pay more. Not cool, Miller & Carter……

We had a lovely meal. It was the first time we had took our boys (8yrs and 5yrs) and Kirsty made them so welcome. They really enjoyed their food and loved to ring the bell when leaving. A enjoyable evening and means always.

We ordered the butchers block and it was delicious, our steak expert for the evening was Mihai, the service we recieved was amazing and the food was beautiful.

The food was fantastic and the service was brilliant! Mihai was a great waiter - super friendly and offered recommendations when unsure which steak to have and how best to cook it. We will definitely be returning and thanks again Mihai for making it a great experience!

The culinary offerings were exceptional, and our server, Claudia, was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. Gluten free menu was incredible. We highly recommend this establishment.

Myself and my mum were out for lunch We ordered traditional fish and chips which was beautiful and we were recommended by our lovely waitress Claudia to have the crème brûlée for dessert which was delicious. Our whole experience was wonderful and the service we received was outstanding. We had the specials menu. The starter sticky chicken was lovely. The steaks were nice. Overall a nice meal.the price has gone up this year not as reasonably price as before won’t be coming as often.

Was out tonight for a friends birthday meal and can only describe the waitress ‘Katie’ as world class. Picked up on table banter joined in the laughs whilst staying professional. Attentitive to the table with good assurance that we were all enjoying the meal and happy with drinks ect. She made this trip 10x better. Sorbet man won’t forget you. Josh carnell

Excellent trip to Sherwood Forest Miller and Carter. Fantastic service from Katie our sever who was very polite, attentive and made us feel so welcome. We have dined here on many previous occasions and as always the food was of a high standard. Just one constructive comment is that the dress standard of some of the customers is poor and lowers the tone of the restaurant. That aside it was a lovely evening and we will return.

Absolutely splendid food. Had a 16Oz Ribeye and it was perfect. Served by Jane who was so lovley and helped with all of our needs.

We came out for a date night which now that we have children doesn’t happen very often.. must say the food was of its usual high standard and the service received by our waitress Leanne was as really refreshing.. she was super friendly and attentive. We’ve not been for a while but I think after tonight we will aim to return once a month as we really enjoyed ourselves
