Unbelievably slow staff, too busy chatting on headsets instead of serving

Good friendly local pub conveniently situated near the River and a great park. Sausage rolls are wonderful as is homemade bread.

I understand drive thru, take priority over the walk-in. But an average waiting time is around 20 minutes for food now. We waited 20 minutes yesterday for our food (for 4) and a customer before us order 2 happy meals and was still waiting when we got ours. Around 25 minutes for 2 happy meals is a joke. If people are taking the time to get out of their cars and eat in your restaurant, they should still be looked after. I could get it delivered quicker, then it to be served to me on a tray, with less packaging. It doesn't make sense. 🤦‍♂️

Standard McDonalds, but the quality of food seems to have changed from when I was a kid.

I would like to sincerely thank an employee named Maddison for her kindness and attentiveness. During a busy time, we had to leave our table quickly to take my daughter to the toilets, accidentally leaving behind her toy and drink. Maddison went out of her way to preserve our belongings and later approached us to return them. Her thoughtful actions made a real difference, and we are very grateful cheers lass

Slowest order ever. Had to wait half an hour just to get my order. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for my order being on the table waiting while everyone walked around like they had nothing better to do. Service was so slow it was rediculous.

Slow service and cold food. Bad Fanta. Just put the fries in the bag bro

40minute wait on food, just to get cold and soggy chips, stale chicken nuggets, not impressed and wouldnt recommend it at all

If you order for eating in it is generally slow... While the food is prepared and thrown together in a slap dash manner.

Absolutely terrible experience. We were the first car in the drive-thru and it still took 40 minutes to get our food. We sat at the speaker for 25 minutes with no response—someone finally spoke up just to say their till hadn’t updated, then disappeared and never came back. We had to go around and reorder through the app just to get served. When we finally got the food, it was freezing cold. No sauces, no salt on the chips, no ice in the drinks. We got one straw for three drinks, no napkins at all. Just incredibly poor service from start to finish. Would not recommend.

Good value.. dreadful wi fi ordering

Just wanted to say how lovely the drive thru staff were at 6.40pm this evening. The member of staff taking orders (George I think his name) was lovely and had a very kind tone . As did the young lady handing us our orders , they don’t get paid to be nice but they certainly were! 🤍

Busy venue like most McD's.... Lots of staff in cooking/prep area Customer Service about a 7 outta 10. As a nice day sat out side, Touch screen ordering I dont use that facility as there was sticky fingerprints all over,

Our food had most of the items missing and what we did get was cold. I would like a refund plwase, this isn't good enough.

We ordered a Macdonalds at 5.20pm 30/3/2025. It did not arrive. I tried to cancel the order but impossible to do it. At 9.40pm. There is a message saying it has been delivered. I was near the door at this time and the smart doorbell did not ring. There was no delivery. The doorbell would have rung. I looked outside and there was no delivery. This order was expensive It was over £22. The money has been taken off my credit card. I want a refund please for non delivery. Ruth Bruce 64 NG4 4DT.

Food was delivered 1 hour and 30 minutes after I ordered it, with no ability to get a refund to cancel as I would be late for work.

As always the fries were cold and the sauce was missing. I do still order in the hope that it will improve because the burgers are nice.

Food arrived and chips were cold. I ordered a maltesers mc flurry and was given an Oreo mc flurry. We ordered sauces that were not given, straws and spoons for the mc flurry’s weren’t given either.

First time we've been to this branch, it was busy on a Sunday afternoon. Our order was 100% correct and was quick. No issues at all

We ordered the food at 6am to be delivered at 8am! We had a funeral to attend! Why did the food NOT turn up until 8.30 and it was cold!

Quite possibly the most useless McDonald’s branch in England. If it isn’t cold fries, it’s forgotten food. Management needs replacing ASAP as 8/10 of the staff here are useless.

Third occasion ordering a take away from here two occasions my order has been wrong where food has been missed off. How can the staff get it so wrong they wasn't even busy. Really poor customer service

Tend to come here as a stop when visiting the retail park, just wanted to write this review to compliment the staff member Gabriel, his service was welcoming and he genuinely made me think of how I've never felt the service he provided from a staff member at McDonalds. Props to Gabriel.

Order was late and items were missing, again.

Cold food even thought order arrived on time. Half my coke was spilt at the bottom of the bag, straws and ketchup missing and fries look like half of them are missing as well

Very nice and a very polite person would recommend them. Couldn’t ask for much better. The order was 100% correct the the delivery driver was so polite.

watched the courier on the map go straight past my road up to Carlton. Back to the restaurant but still with my order. Food was STONE COLD because he had it for almost an hour. £1.77 refund on a £10 order. No answer when calling the restaurant. So disappointing that the courier lied when I asked him about it. And now I'm so hungry I could eat a scabby 'oss! Come on courier man, have a bit more pride in yourself.

The worst experience I've ever had in a McDonald's, I went on a Saturday so expected a slight delay, I took my little girl as a reward for winning an award at school that week for reading. 15.38 I placed my order via there app and after 20 mins asked for a rough eta, I was told they were very busy and as soon as possible. 14 minutes later (SO 34 MINIUTES after ordering) the food came to the counter, when I got it EVERYTHING was cold or alittle warm. I took it straight back and they said they could recook it all but there would be another wait, I asked for a refund and gave my feedback to which I did jot even get an apologise. There must of been 20 unclaimed drinks on the table and what looked like about 30 to 40 items just sitting there in the end of there construction line, NO ONE apart from young people were on the front, all of them stressed and all the management team were in the cooking area's, it was just shocking... avoid as especially at peak times, it not the colleagues fault as only one of them had any stars on there badge, leadership need to take a serious look at how things are running in here, My little girl was gutted so I took her to Greggs on the park which was busy but running smoothly.

Order, sit-down, wait for food and then eat. How convenient.

The driver didn’t know where he was going parked in the wrong place. My food was stone cold and half of it was missing. I ordered large 5 chicken select meal no fires arrived and this was the same issue with medium 3 chicken select meal no fires. Half my order was missing.

Food was cold on arrival had to re-heat the whole meal. Drink had leaked everywhere.

The food wasn’t just cold but the nuggets and fries were stale. There is no way they had been cooked anywhere near the time I ordered. The nuggets were actually inedible. Complete waste of money. And as always, no dips in the bag. Why bother asking which dips people want if you never put them in the bag?
