McDonald's in Gedling

ordered my food and they gave me a table marker, 20 mins later and no food, theyd not put it in as a table marker order but got me my food straight away when i asked, wasnt in a rush so no harm done we are all human after all. workers have always been polite and lovely and fixed any mistakes straight away, definitely a good mcdonalds

Was served by the most loveliest worker I have ever known in the food industry, especially at maccies. He was a tall black male working the til around 1.30pm when he served me. Very rare nowadays you get a service with a smile and he went beyond that, even talking and serving other customers very friendly and it’s nice to see. I hope this find a way back to him!

After paying for my meal, I never heard my number called out so as anybody would do, I asked about it, and was basically ignored by one of the girls at the counter. I then asked the manager and she had said she threw it away and eventually only gave me half of my food. She was extremely rude to me too and told me to just go with only the nuggets. I get that it’s a busy place and can be stressful but no need to take it out on paying customers. I wouldn’t have minded if they forgot sauce or anything like that, but forgetting my fries AND drink?? Ridiculous. And to then be spoken to rudely by someone who is in charge of employees is just plain rude. I’ve never had problems with this store other than now, so I won’t be spending my money here, I’ll go to a different McDonald’s.

A great place to eat. Good pricing. Friendly staff with good service. Nice atmosphere. Dine in or take out. A very popular place to eat.pushchair friendly.

Terrible maccies if you have children... AVOID!! Lots of unruly youths... I've seen more police at this maccies than staff!! Food is always rushed but cold... just go to another Mc'ds... bad experience every time!!

Typical MaccyD's but the location is abysmal. It's difficult bordering on impossible to park and creates dreadful traffic issues as it's on the corner of a crossroads.

Dirty, unhelpful staff and cold tea (ordered hot tea). The breakfast was minging, egg was like rubber, sausage was burnt, and the hash brown was under cooked. Fortunately for me, this will be my last ever visit to mc donalds. Mc donalds just take their customers for granted. They don't take any pride in what they do anymore. I 💯 will never frequent a mc donalds ever again.

Food was good but when I called to inquire about if I left some of my property I was put on hold then they hung up discusting behaviour

Arrived at 2350 per Google instructions that the place was open until 0400. Already closed upon arrival. Jokers. Shop local folks where honesty & loyalty prevail!

Toilets are really dirty if you go outside too much birdstry to get your food

The service is just average in every way. Probably because of the number of customers flowing in and out of the place. Although I do appreciate how they have an outdoor sitting area and an indoor sitting area. But the waiting spot for people trying to get takeout is always cramped.. and the outdoor sitting has no shades for rain or harsh weather. So when it is raining, even slightly, it becomes a no-go area for diners. And the wireless charging areas on their tables don't work so don't expect to get a boost on your phone wirelessly.

What you expect from a McDonalds, fast food and speedy sevice

My visit to McDonald's today was 5 star and was chockablock with customers, that said the service was lighting delivery and my McChicken salad and fries was well worth waiting for, well done to the staff 💯%

Are the staff stupid? I ordered delivery for me and me and my partner and they missed off a whole cheeseburger ? Getting a refund doesn’t really make up for the fact one of us is hungry. It literally says on the receipt a burger is included yet they didn’t pack it…..

Not great atmosphere. Lot of weed heads in there. Unfortunately no baby changing facilities. Staff and service lovely though.

No ketchup in the whole store, they give me the medium size hot chocolate in a large cup, when I complain the problem, they changed another chocolate got no taste, taste like they add the water to cover

Quite a number of items out of stock. Veggie sandwich very dry and barely contained any lettuce, plus a small amount of mayo. Fries were only lukewarm. Not good value for money either.

Went to this Macdonald's today for breakfast and thay had no eggs. And have been there befor a couple of times. And thay didn't even have salt.

I think the staff in McDonald's should be more people friendly. As a customer I feel somewhat ignored a lot of the time. Maybe some training is needed. I find this in all McDonald's restaurants. People skill are missing .

Place is almost always packed, the toilet is almost always either being cleaned or out of order. Tables never cleaned when it is busy and people always go here with their crying screaming kids because they are bad parents.

A young asian girl named Kirstie was very rude to me when handing me my order! I was very polite and yet received a sour face and zero customer service back!! The management team need to train her to treat all customers with professionalism!! All the other staff are lovely!!

Best mc Donald's in nottingham super fast service. Super clean. Food is always hot. Always done well.

Ordered a meal on Friday 23/06/2023 with an apple pie when I got in my car an drove to eat my Apple Pie was missing from the order

It is a McDonald, wish the staff would clean chair and tables outside.

Is not open at 5am as advertised. Or at least, there are staff in there and machines on at 5.30, but they can't be bothered to unlock the doors

Might be a bit unfair to rate as 3 for service and atmosphere, but we found the seating area full of people who were not eating MCD products, and the one table we eventually did get was quite dirty with no staff offering to clean it. Was more like a warm location for teenagers to meet up than a restaurant. McPlant meal was good but an anxious wait after ordering via the self service machines due to the printer not working, so we had no proof should something go wrong. To us the staff looked to be working hard, especially getting the delivery orders ready, and the time from ordering to getting our food was quite fast.

Went on Monday 21st November 2022, coffee spilt all over the floor with no wet floor sign, whole floor like a paddling pool from the rain, bloody sanitary towels in 2 toilets, poo in the other toilet, no toilet roll, whole place STUNK of urine, cleaner walking round slow as anything not even wiping tables let alone anything else. Food was cold, food was burnt, had to wait 10 minutes for a replacement plain mayo chicken burger. Only plus side was one male worker giving out order numbers, was apologetic, nice and helpful about poor quality food and wait time. Whole place is a shambles and the hygiene/health and safety is literally a 0/10.

Really bad always missing items or sending wrong order and they are rude

The most chaotic lunch I've ever spent. All kiosks broken or playing up - allowing you to order but not pay, so you had to take a ticket to pay for your order...by joining a large queue we all were trying to avoid. After paying and waiting a ridiculous amount of time, it turned out that mine and several other peoples orders were paid for but did not exist on the system so we'd been stood waiting for no reason as nothing was coming. After finally getting the attention of an employee (all ganged around the order screens talking about their dating lives and tv) he went to get our order. He didn't give us ice in our drinks, napkins, or straws, because he was in a fluster. Also enjoyed watching the employee speaking to his friend instead of cooking, who stood peeling off monopoly stickers so his friend could have free stuff. Oh, and enjoyed the public reprimand because someone took fries out of the oil too early. In front of something like 30+ customers all waiting for food... how humiliating for that employee. All in all, it won't be my first choice and we regretting coming here! XD

this McDonald's is worse than there is in the city of Nottingham, an endless subject, the managers don't care about anything they just keep talking you'll talk to them they still don't like you to complain oh my god general manager of this chain needs to take urgent action this restaurant is literally abandoned

Literally the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. Staff meandering around having chats during peak lunch.

Mackies is ok but not for wheelchair users, no suitable tables without boltdown seat or cubicle seating.

After a few hours walking in the city centre McDonald's sounded the ideal place to eat. It was a very warm day so the cooler interior was very welcome plus we were able to sit near the window and watch the world go by. Meal was very good, an excellent bite to eat!

Good was OK machines to take orders were having a few issues but overall quite good, must mention a particular member of staff who was so helpful to my wife and I when we visited on Tuesday 3rd May 2022, so big thank you to Sarah who was cleaning tables but stopped and helped my wife (who has mobility problems) with our granddaughter by getting her a high chair

It's a better option than some of the other city centre ones but A LOT more cleaning needs to be happening.

Despite being very busy, the lobby staff were very kind and helpful and the service was very quick.

Repeatedly had problems with this particular branch. The last being, ordered a chicken big mac meal. Received a regular big mac meal. But in a chicken big mac box. Called the store to complain, they couldn't really have cared less. Won't be ordering from here again

The best burger I've had in ages was in the Nottingham Street food club which directly above this establishment.

Absolutely diabolical customer service,was waiting half an hour for a order from the app ordering from a table in the said McDonald's. When I asked I was told 'it will get there when it's ready". Some of us are under time restraints. KFC and Burger King know how too treat customers that is where I will take my custom from now on.

Too busy,ages to get served. Ordered hot chocolate with our food.It was tasteless brown water nothing like Caburys the lady kindly changed it for another hot drink which really wasn't that hot.

Right were do I begin. It's very very very busy by the time u have ordered good ten min then it's left on a stand to go cold it's left to go horrid . If they got it out from the stand the frappes wunt be Melted wet fru the chips and sandwiches wouldn't be stone cold . Ask for my money back every time but I go with my lil boy he loves it I don't get it . Never one time were everything is great now for 12 pounds wud u want everything ok warm not dripping with fat it all needs a staff refresh . Fast food my god

We keep ordering from them via just eat and my special requirement burgers are never done right. I always get cheeseburgers with no meat patty and extra pickles, last time got them with normal amount of pickles, today my burgers arrived with no pickles at all even though I asked for EXTRA pickles. Your staff should really pay more attention

Good! Even though this McDonald's is a single floor, it does has some outdoor space along with really nice decorations. Food was good, tables were clean, so on and so on. Really only problem was that the service was, well little slow. Still, good McDonald's.

Bit naff. Went in at 2030 and half the seating area was taped off, presumably just to keep it clean for the day shift. Ordered a toffee latté and it arrived half-spilled, with the cream and toffee stuck to the underside of the lid. It was such a mess even the staff member cleaning up passed comment and asked if I wanted another one! Just seemed a bit lazy and carless overall.

Although self service ran out of paper everything went through fine. There were queues in the store but we were still served our food within 5 minutes. Chips could have been left in a minute longer but besides that tasted great. Everything was ean and tidy and there were staff on the floor ready to help others.

Where can you go wrong with Mcdonalds always good

As McDonald's goes this is not the best experience. Staff seem over worked and give the impression they would rather be elsewhere. As it nears closing time they close the customer toilets for cleaning and keep them closed making it impossible for CUSTOMERS to have that facility without any alternative. When challenged they stand their ground and simply say sorry they are closed for cleaning. It was obvious to me that they HAD been cleaned and they wanted them to remain so at the expense of inconveniencing the last customers. This is a management issue that needs to be resolved to the customers satisfaction. Shut down procedures should not negatively impact customer experience. The first customer of the day is as important as the last and any trade off between the two is bad and the impression it generates will not be confined two that moment in time but will migrate further down the road and may cause a would be, loyal customer to spend their money elsewhere. If this situation is mirrored nation wide then their is a sizable negative impression that will accumulate and as a consequence a sizable margin of profit that will be forfeited by managers allowing staff to cut (time) corners. Every hard worker wants to get home in time and should be allowed to but not before and at the expense of sacrificing customer satisfaction.

Had most items, toilets were decent

The staff are great .they get people served quickly. But as i sat eating a woman near ti me actually changed her child's nappy in front of everyone. The child was about 2years old..I had to get our , felt sick. I told a member of staff and she said "how do we deal with that " they need training then. And notices put up. It's not hyagenic is it.

Fairly new McDonald's situated near to Intu Victoria centre .nice sized all on one floor , can get busy especially on a Saturday so seating will be limited but there is additional seating outside for warmer days.once ordered at the self service & paid there is the option of table service at this restaurant just pick up a number sign type it into the self service machine & put it within view with your receipt for the person bringing over your meal.

Like any other McDonald's. Smaller and modern though. Always busy however.
