We went for a late lunch, staff as usual, very friendly and always enjoyed all the great food the sell there fantastic fresh cream cakes great fresh baked bread are some of items they make fresh every day. Well done Birds on price and wholesome food regards M&J

Always get my cobs from birds, living in wollaton I usually use staplford or bramcote, but had to go to mapperley on Saturday so got my cobs from the birds there, the cobs were stale when I used them for tea that evening never in all the years shopping at birds have I had stale cobs, would have taken them back if I didn't live such a long way away

absolutely ridiculous I placed the order two hours ago and it never arrived how can you not have delivery drivers but still take orders and your money for the food

Love birds elephants foot pastry was a little tougher than usual its a warm day though a d still enjoyed xx

Loved the delicious snacks and the ladies at the counter are so nice they should get a raise. Sometimes when I'm on a rush I just order there and the time isn't long at all,amazing place keep up the good work

The food is beautiful and always fresh, my only gripe is some of the staff look at you as if your a shoplifter even though I go in regularly and they seem to treat male customers with contempt and even try to hurry me when I’m deciding what I’d like to purchase, I think this is out of order personally and the same happened a while back at the Victoria Centre branch! Not happy

I loved the little message on the bag telling me to enjoy my day it actually made my day , they make the best pork stuffing and apple sauce rolls and my children who are all grown will only eat birds cream cakes you made their day too

Unreal cream cakes, elephants foot and doughnuts are a must, absolutely amazing

Four large cakes squeezed into 1 box has spoilt them a little, would of preferred two boxes

Wasnt wrapped in anything to keep it warm ie tin foil. The pork was really fatty and tasted fatty and looked under cooked . couldnt eat it threw it away. So won't be ordering again. The cream cake salvaged my hunger. Even my husband didnt eat it and he eata anything.

4 cream slice but the end of the tray only 75% creamed. They should not send those out. Three very nice caramel donuts squashed into a small box. Birds usually better than that.

It was amazing the way the courier served me my order was just spot on. He came to the door snd graciously handed me a brilliant white bag of goodness.

All items were delicious I will definitely be ordering again ! Thanks

Lovly fresh cream cakes some thing for every one staff is friendly.

£1.40 for a sausage roll which had a massive chunk of bone in which I nearly cracked a tooth on.

Oh the Christmas Tartlets are out! They're amazingly different & my family love them! The bread rolls & variety have always been a winner. Keep on baking, Birds of Mapperley.
