Unfortunately the lamb curry we ordered had about 4 small pieces of lamb in it. Pretty disgusting for 10.95 honestly.

Piping hot, fresh and fragrant food. Couldn’t fault the dishes in any way. A must try is the garlic rice!! Will definitely be ordering from there again :)

I never leave reviews but I couldn’t not here! By far THE best Indian me and my partner have ever had, if you haven’t been here it’s a MUST Try! The food was fresh, meat was succulent, the portion sizes and the value for money is amazing. Absolutely incredible food and lovely staff! Originally ordered with estimate of 35-50 minutes. Food took over 90 minutes to deliver. No communication. Not happy with the service. Suggested it was delivered 15 minutes before it had arrived.

I tried to make contact rather than leave a review but the app wouldn’t work.. I couldn’t see or taste any garlic at all in either the rogan josh or the rice which is disappointing as I especially ordered these for the garlic.

Our first delivery . Just devoured Very pleased the meals were absolutely gorgeous. We ordered Lamb Danhak and Chicken Rogan Josh the meats were tender cooked lovely. The Bombay Potatoes & Chicken Tikka starter was also nice. It came piping hot. Plenty of food portions were big. Next time we are coming down to the resturant with our friends. Highly Recommended

Lovely food and speedy delivery

First time ordering and it did not disappoint! It was delivered within 20 minutes which was amazing. The food was incredible, I had the lamb saag and I will not be having a lamb saag from anywhere else again!

Chicken tikka starter, 5 big pieces and was juicy and very tasty, tikka masala plenty of chicken and sauce and keema rice delicious, never had a bad meal from here, one of my favourite Indian takeaways. Also delivery driver was very pleasant.

I can’t believe I haven’t ordered from here before. It was so tasty and the chicken was lovely and cooked to perfection. Lovely fluffy garlic rice too. This is my new favourite place, highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried this before. Absolutely perfect in every way.

Myself and my family had a meal at royal gurkha last night, the food was amazing very nice and fresh. The lady that served us was soo kind friendly, and helpful. One of the best curries I've had.

Had a 2 hour delivery last month but today it was on time and the food was absolutely incredible. Best in the area by a mile! Lamb and chicken in so tender!

Just had another meal from The Royal Gurkha. Excellent as usual. The quality of the ingredients always shines through. As a fussy eater they have never failed to impress me with their food which says a lot. Can highly recommend .You won't be disappointed.

Restaurant was using own delivery drivers but only two working on a very busy evening so our food requested for 19.10 arrived at 20.50. It was still hot when it arrived and quality was good otherwise.

Just been in to place order had to wait while the woman behind desk told me to wait for 4 phone orders. Sorry but disappointed won't be going there anymore

said it was delivered at 17.05 but wasn't delivered till over half hour later

Arrived hot and the first time we have used this restaurant. Set meal for two was amazing and hot, lots of lovely spicing the starter was brilliant 👏 5 star all the way.

Great place to enjoy nice nepalese food. Service is good and prices for food are reasonable if sharing a main between two. EDIT: now they have gotten greedy and won't serve you unless you spend a fortune. Avoid this place. Go somewhere you are actually welcome like Bibiana Lounge in Hucknall.

Manager insists on £20 minimum spend to eat in. Food was good but we nolonger eat here. As loyal regulars this seems like a very disrespectful policy. They also add a service charge not on the menu. Management has gotten too greedy. On site staff are nice and polite. I won't be returning anytime soon. edit to response: 1) we often spend £12 - £16 and come regularly. We offered to pay a minimum of £12 but you insist on £20. 2) AC and lights are on anyway. I don't mind eating in the dark if you insist. 3) restaurant is usually empty and when there was a big party, I volunteered to move tables to accomodate the party. I also waited 90 minutes for my food that day and never complained. 4) the "inconvenient time" we still left before closing time. Not my fault your staff want to leave early. Why say you are open until 10pm if you want to leave the building at 9:30? Overall, I feel very unappreciated and disrespected by your sudden new policy which you didn't even have the guts to tell me about in person.

I’ve had some nice curries from here but the chicken burger and chips are the worst chicken burger and chips Ive ever had the misfortune of spending £9.50 on even worse then those microwave burgers you get from the corner shop crap burgers but good curry

Do not ordered not here I found hair in my food and there trying to say they don’t have hair everybody as eyebrow hair and eyelash they have now started to be very rude when I first called up about it they was saying they would send me more food and I said no as I don’t want anymore food they was saying there busy and there sorry it’s not good enough making loads off excuse snd so on not gonna go into all the in and out cause don’t even wanna give it to much air time but they given me my money back and it’s still not the point do not ordered from here

At last! A decent curry in Nottinghamshire. I’m from Birmingham so have spent my life enjoying delicious curries. I’ve tried countless curries in Nottingham and not found one that came close to one from the west midlands. We’ve tried 3 curries so far and all have been really fantastic. The naans are also great, along with the rice and other sides. Can’t fault!

A very small spotless converted corner shop type restaurant. A lovely atmosphere generated by the friendly staff. The Nepalese food from an extensive menu was sublime. A table for four was a bit cramped, but we loved it. Will definitely revisit when we’re back in the vicinity.

disappointed as this is our go too curry place...tikka bites were Luke warm at best. madras was nice but the chicken tikka masala was very sour and seemed off. this is not the usual standard we expect but it was just disappointing this time around.

Found this hidden gem by accident while on a bike ride today! It is the best Indian food we have ever tasted! Amazing flavours, quality ingredients and super friendly and helpful staff. We ordered the set meal for 2 and there was enough food for a party! We will be regulars from now on.

We ordered a takeaway from here for 1st time. It was amazing 👏 great flavour on the chicken lasani, korma was lovely and sweet (super happy daughter) nann was big enough for 3 people, great portions, Great pricing. Worth every penny.

First visit here and the food was fantastic. We ate from the Gurkha menu and couldn't find fault with anything. It was very quiet although the takeaway service was doing a roaring trade. Don't be put off by it being on the corner of a row of terraced houses. This place is a little gem and we will become regulars.
