The best restaurants in Winthorpe East Lindsey East Midlands

Stumbled across this place by accident as we explored off the beaten track. A new establishment with an abundance of home made goodies, cakes and treats. Everything from hot cooked meals, snacks, light bites with a very good selection of hot and cold drinks. The lovely owner was incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating as we were a large group and had both wheelchair and pushchair. Really worth the visit if you're in the area. I'll definitely be visiting next time I'm here.

Great food and an entertaining owner/manager who went the ‘extra mile’ to take one of our group home when he became unwell during the meal. Great food at reasonable prices.

Excellent service, delicious food, generous portions, fair price....what else can you ask for? We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Steak and Stuff and will definitely be back! Sheila and Allyson

I want to cry! Left home at 4.30am, worked all day. Arrived shattered. Got soaking wet as did my belongings sorting out paying for parking outside. Check in machine failed to work, so then had to wait for a receptionist to crawl out the office to sort it, but by this point now had to queue behind others. Then find out I had to wait an hour before I could eat, the receptionist had zero people skills. Got to my room deciding I'd complete some work but the adjoining room had their TV on max volume and were playing music. Went for meal and had to wait ages to be acknowledged before being seated, then another 20 mins before food. Staff and food were very nice in restaurant - very polite and friendly! Food hot and fresh tasting. Went back to room... next door had turned down the TV but spent until almost 10pm shouting, singing, coughing loudly. Absolutely shattered. Up in 6hrs... getting no sleep whatsoever! Do plan to have my TV on full volume at 4am though! Never staying again. Worse than Scarborough and that's saying alot!

Very clean and staff very welcoming

Fantastic food all so fresh and full of flavour! There has been no expense spared when this menu was made the quality is second to none. All the staff so lovely and friendly and makes the pub feel all the more accommodating and cosy! Thank you so much Tracy, Kev & Team will be back again

The Charnwood Tavern is a little off the beaten track. The Decor is not the best. The welcome was great and the staff were really good. The food that came out of the kitchen looked really great and going by what we had was excellent. We had a Dressed Crab and prawn salad and they were outstanding. Highly recommended if in the area.

Great for a quick cheap coffee. Clean , seating good bit of noise from older persons enjoying themselves easy parking across road a church meaning place all sorts going on though the weak

Had a lovely meal first time of visiting.The staff were very accommodating and sorted out a couple of issues very quickly.The bonus was 3 hrs free parking when you register your car .Will certainly visit again

This place is under new management, loved the pizza, chips and garlic bread. Can't wait to go back and try the hunters chicken.

Best Chinese takeaway I have had in Skegness. The food was fresh, the vegetables were so crunchy, I was really shocked how good it was as it’s most likely the best takeaway I have had all together. The chow mein was also amazing with a lot of sauce and not dry at all which was actually the best one I have ever tried. Beef in black bean sauce had so much flavour and the egg fried rice was also fab. All in all 10/10 would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back
