Great cafe by sea front , friendly, good service ,quality food

Just had some food from there today.My favourite item was the cheese & onion fryit.Mate that was banging better than the shop bought ones.(It looked shop made).

Cedars is a great bar, the food is very nice. The staff a lovely, Jim and Claudia are great host's, well worth a visit.

Varied lunch style menu , pool table , sports TV , children welcome . Has small car park just off site of Haven golden sands

Ordered food to takeaway on two nights. The first nights food order was not complete the salad and coleslaw was missing but the food was nice on that evening so we let it go but the next order was not complete same items missing again and order was not right. The food was not edible and cold and not worth the money we paid. McDonalds would have been better. I would advise that you do not order from the Badgers Barn. You will be highly disappointed!

To start off our holiday, we visited the restaurant where we were greeted by the manager (lucy or ellie She had used various names on the tills). told us there were no tables available despite the whole place being empty she continued being rude and dismissive. The next day we walked straight in and got a table despite there being ‘no availability all weekend’. we then booked a table to eat another night, we were served by the manager again (lucy or ellie). We were told the food would be 45 mins. After waiting 1hr and 30min for the food it was cold, stale and rancid. Steak was rock hard, chips were hard and portion sizes were appalling. One of the curries had 5 pieces of chicken in with bland sauce. After complaining to a member of staff she said “it is what is is” and asked if we wanted to speak to someone. Following this she went and spoke to the manager who dodged our table and continued serving other tables, sending the ‘team leader’ to deal with complaints. All staff in this place are rude and have no care about customer service. The manager has no clue of standards herself. Vile food (microwave meals) and sticky tables.

We visited twice whilst on Holiday to watch the Play Off for League two, found the service to be excellent along with the food, the Chicken and Bacon Panini were really nice and very reasonably priced. We are back in August and will definitely visit again.

Chalet was beautiful very clean, warm and comfortable. Chalet park very rundown glad we only used for 1 night stopover on long drive

Really good food. Well presented and the staff are attentive. All I can suggest as criticism is the £4 charge for peppercorn sauce. It at the very least could be £2 given its components other than that, clean atmosphere and ideal location.

These guys are a brilliant team , big shout out to Aaron, they went above and beyond for us tonight , after papa John's were absolute tools with us 👍 cheers guys 😊
