Fantastic lunch at this lovely tea rooms.Home made soup and the egg mayo sandwiches both were lovely.The atmosphere is so relaxing.Great service,very attentive and the prices are good

Five of us dined here on a Wednesday evening, the first visit for all of us. The decor was nice (far less clinical than the Indian restaurant next door!). The staff very pleasant and helpful. We had poppadoms and pickles to start which arrived promptly. For mains we had chicken korma, butter chicken, a biryani dish, rice and various nan breads that were all hot and tasty. The restaurant only serve soft drinks but you can take your own beer and wine. Wine glasses are already on the table and when asking for water we were each given a small bottle free of charge. Just wondering why we were the only diners that evening (so we had our own private restaurant!) when the food was so good. We will be back!

We had passed this place many times and a topped off early evening on Friday on the off chance that there would be a spare table. Service and food were both above & beyond. Bit of advice though, ask how spicy the dish is. Mine was a bit spicier than anticipated but too tasty to leave. Shall certainly be back.

The food was all absolutely beautiful. It was all made fresh whilst we waited. The afternoon tea portions were great and i even took some cakes home as i was so full! Julie was really accommodating for the children, making pots of jelly and little straw bottles with juice. Everything is homemade and so delicious. Well worth the money and a visit ☺️

I'm not sure where to begin with The Dog and Parrot Pub! The staff are just amazing – always quick with service and genuinely happy to chat with every customer. They've got an excellent selection of beers, a good choice of real ales, lagers, ciders, and spirits. Seating is plentiful, both inside and out, with a nice covered area outside. The bands we've seen since we started visiting regularly have been fantastic; there's always something different happening. The atmosphere is brilliant! On our first visit, we only popped in for an hour, but we ended up staying all day and well into the evening. The landlady (Katherine)and landlord (David) are very well-respected, and I think they've really brought so many people together. Plus, the charity work they do is truly commendable. We absolutely love The Dog and Parrot!

Great Cafe, with a wide range on the menu. Ran by really good people who get to know their customers. The food is great, I hear the coffee is particularly good and they've upheld a 5 star hygiene rating for many years. Lots of seating, Open every day of the week, they even opened up on Christmas 2024

Had to come on here and leave a review after such a lovely experience. Myself,daughter & granddaughter went in for food and drinks before going to the nearby hotel for the night. The food was really nice with great portions. The service they gave was the main reason for my review today. They could not do enough to ensure we had everything we needed! Even offering to change the eggs if they were not to our liking! Well done ladies. Keep up the great customer service.

Fantastic food great value and the staff are very friendly. Meal deal for one large noodles can of coke 4 onion rings and 4 mini spring rolls. Absolutely delicious highly recommended. I've been many times
