Had a lovely couple of hours here yesterday. It really is a lovely little place and well worth a visit. We only went for cocktails ( have afternoon tea booked for two weeks ) they were fab. Like the cocktails you get on holiday. Proper cocktails. Even got a free one as it was darlings first anniversary celebration. Hubby had carrot cake and said it was delicious. Owner lovely. Darlings is very clean, spacious with a fresh lovely feel. Music in the background. Couldn't ask for more !

I have been to Darling’s a couple of times and enjoyed the pretty ambience of the venue; time and care is always taken with the window display and the beautiful cups, saucers and teapots always keep me looking! This time our extended family went for lunch and enjoyed choosing food - the ploughman’s lunch was a particular favourite with lots of different condiments to accompany the ham, cheese and pork pie. The cakes were enjoyed for dessert too. Thank you for having us - we’ll see you again xx

We’ve been going in at least once a month since last yr to the tearoom to nip in and eat at. Clean, conscientious of my daughters multiple food allergies. No complaints on cleanliness, attentiveness to our wishes over making sure there’s no cross contamination. Always welcoming with a smile when we walk in. English breakfast- spot on. Toast- done exactly how I like it, not too toasted. Hot chocolate- made in front of me with whipped cream and marshmallows (best hot chocolate I’ve had in ages). Tea our daughter would keep drinking given half a chance. On our last visit we left a £20 tip for the young ladies who were very attentive and professional. Owner is very sociable and easy to talk to and approach. Thank you very much!

Visited recently, Incredible from the beginning and throughout. Small family run business with the warmest welcome on arrival. From the start of visiting the tea room there was no task too small for them. Fresh home baked cakes, scones and quiche. Everything was immaculate from the cleanliness inside the shop and toilet, to the quality bone china our food was served on. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t attend to us enough. They have a 5 star rating for food hygiene which is always great. We are also dairy and gluten free which the staff accommodated for and is one of the best cakes I’ve had that has catered for my needs. They also have an alcohol license and are open in the evening as a cocktail bar which I can confirm the cocktails are amazing! The toilet is disabled friendly and immaculate. After meeting all of the wonderful staff members it is hard to believe there is a review on this mentioning to ‘watch your purses’ we couldn’t have a more different opinion. The owner came over to see if our lunch was okay and seemed very open and welcoming. Overall a great place in Eastwood, and truly one of a kind.
