The best restaurants serving Indian food in Eastwood South Broxtowe East Midlands

Five of us dined here on a Wednesday evening, the first visit for all of us. The decor was nice (far less clinical than the Indian restaurant next door!). The staff very pleasant and helpful. We had poppadoms and pickles to start which arrived promptly. For mains we had chicken korma, butter chicken, a biryani dish, rice and various nan breads that were all hot and tasty. The restaurant only serve soft drinks but you can take your own beer and wine. Wine glasses are already on the table and when asking for water we were each given a small bottle free of charge. Just wondering why we were the only diners that evening (so we had our own private restaurant!) when the food was so good. We will be back!

Fuimos a buscar una comida para llevar desde aquí, ya que estábamos visitando IKEA cerca. Siempre que estamos en Nottingham siempre venimos aquí. Mi padre pidió específicamente el Lahori Gosht. Y lo dijo claramente dos veces al tipo que tomó nuestra orden pero no entendía muy bien el inglés. Cuando volvimos a Leicester nos enteramos de que era un plato de pollo en lugar del Lahori Gosht! Les llamamos por teléfono y tuvimos derecho a ir a ellos, pero de nuevo no entendieron muy bien lo que estábamos diciendo. Mi pregunta es si no puede comunicarse en el idioma inglés local, ¿por qué ha abierto un negocio donde tiene que tratar con los miembros del público a diario? Terrible experiencia y no volveremos nunca más. . .

Just had a call from this number saying it is from O2 and that they would give me 40% off my bill. Clearly scammers but didn't know they do curries as well as phone contracts!?
