The best restaurants in Tibshelf Bolsover East Midlands

The food and service at Crystal house has seriously gone downhill recently. Tonight our delivery order took over 2 hours. The app said it was delivered but it hadn’t been so I called and was told the driver had just left with it. Then when it arrived the delivery driver who seemed to have a car full got out, got the food out the boot and then got his small child to bring it to the door while he got back in the car?! The standard of food wasn’t very good and this dish was supposed to be prawns in chilli. We’ve ordered this before and it looked nothing like this, it looks like they just threw something together. We will be ordering from somewhere else in future.

Absolutely Amazing the food was the best we've had in a long time ,there's such a great choice to try on there menu , The staff are so friendly can't do enough for you 10 out of 10 from us . Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere. The owner and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is top class and great priced. Beer is very good priced. 5* would rate it higher if possible. Worth a visit to this wonderful pub! Thank you Costin & team for your hospitality

Its the only pub left in the village, they doing there damdest to keep it open, as an old Tibby lad really enjoyed being there.

If you still remember the 80s, then step back in time to Tibby chippy for a totally authentic period chippy experience.

WOW Absolutely Amazing Food & Service. We had a selection of different starters and 4 main dishes. The food was absolutely amazing just perfect cooked to perfection. Couldn’t fault anything everything arrived in a timely manner thr atmosphere was amazing children loved it too. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped off at Tibshelf South Services for a quick drink after a long drive. The staff were very friendly and polite ☺️

The Young lady at 11.10am on the 4th of March 2025 who served me my hazelnut latee and sausage sandwich was the most polite young lady, served me with a smile and is a credit to Costa. 5 stars all round.

both kebab and pizza where cold , the kebab wasnt great and no taste in the chilli sauce .

Pasta bar offering quick hot freshly made pasta to curb your hunger on the way. Healthier than other fast food joints on the services for sure! What more could you want?!

Absolutely faultless, six of us dined here and a baby , everyone enjoyed the meal the pork melted in your mouth and the festive ploughman’s was 100percent delicious..The staff were all friendly and we were served quickly and all together despite it being busy. We will definitely return Thank You Also reasonably priced
