Costa Coffee in Bolsover

The Young lady at 11.10am on the 4th of March 2025 who served me my hazelnut latee and sausage sandwich was the most polite young lady, served me with a smile and is a credit to Costa. 5 stars all round.

Highly disappointed with customer service. The girl behaviour on front desk was rude and we used a voucher and she said straight away its not working without even confirming and later on a guy came and said voucher is valid. The guys behaviour was nice though. Food was amazing but customer service was very bad.

The cafe belonging to the Costa Coffee cafe chain. Find a good coffee and enjoy something sweet, a muffin, a cake, etc.

Excellent place for truck drivers to have breakfast. Nice atmosphere, ok service and very good food. At the place, I drank a Large Latte and a Bacon and Brie sandwich. You can get this bread from the refrigerated area and go to the cashier to pay, order your drink and ask for the sandwich to be heated. The combo cost £9.65 and can be paid with a £10 voucher, if you opted for parking + good 😉

Recieved a warm and friendly welcome from the staff at the drive thru. I wish I had got their names, but they really did make my experience better than I have received at other drive thru Costa's in the past. Visited on a Thursday afternoon and despite their being a slight queue I was served quickly. The drinks were also made well, so big appreciation.

For a motorway service this was good, I had a bacon roll and a latte my wife had a ham and cheese toastie and very nice it was too. I must say it was busy, but they had enough staff and they worked really well together, I think they had it well organised and so were very quick considering the number of customers.

Coffee was extremely bitter and the milk tasted off. Had to throw it away after just 3 sips. Crisps were also very stale. Note: this wasn't via the drive through but the one inside the service station.

Another OK experience. Not good, definitely not worth the money, just OK. Just ordered a Ruby hot chocolate from the drive through and it was luke warm at best. Too late to take it back as we were already back on the motorway. No chocolate flavour either, just a warm-ish cup of milk. Really disappointed as I use this Costa every so often and the drinks are so inconsistent. Thought I'd give it another shot and it's been another let down. Won't be stopping again. Lady on the till was very pleasant but the drinks are not worth the money spent.

Fairly standard Costa coffee, we were there at a quiet time so was no que. Service was good and staff friendly and helpful. Cakes were fresh and coffee tasty. The thing that let it down was how dirty the seating area was. We were there in the morning and it didn't look like it had been cleaned from the previous day.

Drive Thru. Great flat White and millionaire shortbread! Very polite and courteous service! Thoroughly recommend.

Poor service and an incredibly rude barista with no people or customer service skills. Ordered a plain iced latte for my partner which when received was laced with copious amounts of syrup, despite the drink clearly being listed on the official Costa menu online as having NO SYRUP and being requested as such. The result was a waste of a beverage, time and money as this could not be replaced as we were on the M1 when this unrequested addition was discovered and no other branch would be able to assist or replace. This is dangerous as adding ingredients which are not listed or requested by the customer is a controvension of food safety laws and had this been a known allergen such as Wheat or Nuts an allergic reaction could have been caused. This will be reported to Costa Head Office.
