WOW Absolutely Amazing Food & Service. We had a selection of different starters and 4 main dishes. The food was absolutely amazing just perfect cooked to perfection. Couldn’t fault anything everything arrived in a timely manner thr atmosphere was amazing children loved it too. Would definitely recommend!

Nice coffee, great service! Are on holiday across the street. Got tips about stuff to do. Had a proper English breakfast. Was awesome!

I am so pleased the pub has been taken over by the wonderful people at Cadman's Animal Feeds next door. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast/lunch time menu is small but we enjoyed our sandwiches/chips and the restaurant menu more extensive in an evening (haven't tried this yet). The food was lovely and the wine impressive. Have previously been for coffee and cake and this was a great experience too! Good luck in the future to you all!

It's a 5 out 5 for me had 3 excellent meals this weekend 1st with my daughter 2nd with my bestie and a few cheeky cocktails 🍸and least to the 3rd with my big bro for the father's day meal which was excellent x

Popped in after lockdown for coffee and cakes for grandparents and 2 yr old grandchild. The seating area is nicely done, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The lady staff member was excellent and comfortably accomodating to our needs. Service was excellent. The coffee and cakes were lovely, and the lunch and dinner menus look very good. Noticeable that the little pots of conserves are the very best quality ones. Overall a little oasis providing everything you could ask for in a friendly environment.

Absolutely fantastic pub serving both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The coffee and cakes are fab as well as the selection of beers etc. The food is amazing and can fully recommend the Sunday dinners, just fabulous. The staff are lovely and friendly and whether local or not you will always get a warm welcome. Looking forward to getting back inside the pub and using the restaurant, so lucky to have this pub nearby.

Since last year whilst being run by the new owners and their team of lovely bar staff and chefs the place has become a staple of good food and good nights it’s been turned around for the better! Everyone is lovely and the food is to die for! The atmosphere is great and they honestly can’t do enough for you. Never felt so welcomed at a pub! It’s really got that family feel whilst remaining professional! It caters for anyone and everyone! Really recommend to anyone wanting to have a nice dinner or even just a drink!

Recently reopened, my son and his wife have moved in across the road. Really enjoyed the food which was prepared to takeout. I had steak in a bloomer sandwich with sweet potato fries. Had half of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord....Excellent. What a great local!

My 91 year old grandma is currently stopping in the care home just down the road from the pub so thought it would be nice to take her out for lunch. She’s currently not walking so managed to tackle the very narrow pavements with the wheelchair to get to the pub but when we arrived at 12.10 it was closed,there was no one around inside & no explanation as to why it would be shut.I’d looked on the website that morning to check on the opening times & to double check they did food. If it doesn’t open at 12 then they need to revise there website.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. We have passed this pub several times and always thought how nice it looks. So today on our way home from Sheffield we decided to stop here for lunch. Having checked the website first which says Home cooked food served all day every day when we arrived at 3.30 we were told they had stopped serving. They need to update there website.
