Food tastes great.. But parts still cold not good for my stomach obs, frozen ingredients not cooked through around the edges.. Sorry, Crystal very tasty, but cold luke warm chicken and pork is kinda dangerous. Don't rush cook properly!!! Also I had a soggy prawn cracker.

Really excellent food, our favourite Chinese in the area and my husband has tried most! We ordered for 10 people and it all arrived hot and within 5 minutes of the requested delivery time. Also appreciate the complimentary drink and snacks.

We order from here every time we want a Chinese and would never go anywhere else! The food is absolutely amazing every time, we have no faults with New Crystal House at al! The food is always hot, tasty and very well portioned. Delivery is always efficient too! I highly recommend the Hong Kong Style Sweet & Sour Chicken and then Crispy Shredded Chicken with Garlic Butter! Beautiful dishes and highly recommend!

Usually love this Chinese but unfortunately feel disappointed tonight after spending £40 on food which was well below average. Soggy chips, dry prawn crackers, chicken curry was different to normal. Not good :(

Best Chinese takeaway for a long time, except for their crispy chips in salt and spices. For some reason the chips have really gone down hill. Used to be crispy, full of seasoning and flavour. Now, soggy and bland. Real shame. Will continue to buy the other food though.

Absolutely the worst chinese I've ever had, £40 for a bag of dog food, prawns were sour, pork was glow in the dark pink and like chewing gum, some sort of noodles I think they were supposed to be underneath. Ingredients are clearly days old and not at all pleasant

Placed an Uber eats order at 6:40pm food arrived at 9pm I wouldn’t have minded the wait if the food was worth waiting for…it wasn’t, I ordered the munch box which consisted of 99% chips with a few scraps of chicken, my wife’s order was so salty she couldn’t eat it. Avoid people x

Shocking, ordered just after 6 , told an hour max, 8:40 driver not left, we are 5 miles away

Rice is greasy and tasteless had to mix in soy sauce to make it taste of anything, and I don't think it touched sides of a pan long enough to be called fried rice. the chicken chow Maine tasted char grilled which was odd, so I think it was actually burnt. The chips were the best part but if I wanted just chips I would have gone to a chippy. Not thrilled don't think I would order again.

Placed a lazy order via Uber, however we’re usually loyal to a more local Chinese but this was so good! Fried rice was as expected like most takeaways, satay chicken was super flavourful and generous, the mixed chow mien was full of veggies and meats and lots of sauce, the salt and chilli king prawns were so impressive, the size of them was amazing and not particularly spicy which was good for me, the chicken noodle soup was so deliciously peppery and it’s so hard to find decent ones locally. This was more expensive than we’re used to, in fairness it isn’t overly local but I would recommend. Very delicious and nicely packaged food.

Had not ordered from here before because of mixed reviews however had a lovely meal on Thursday this week. Will be ordering again soon

Ordered the 12’ salt and pepper box never again🤢 like it had been thrown in curry sauce tasted like nothing chips were disgusting went straight in the bin never ordering again!!!

I've used this Chinese for years even when they changed owners and the food wasn't great, but today I ordered food for me and my girls, presentation was awful and the food was so bad it had to go in the bin, rice was either not cooked or reheated as it was hard the curry was slop with lumps of fat and huge slices of onion, when I phoned all I got was oh sorry we have new chief haha, no what can we do to put it right, terrible customer service, terrible food and prices have shot up too.

Ordered at 8pm, said it would be delivered around 9pm...went on the Uber eats app to check if it had set off... They cancelled at 8:45? Thanks for ruining our night. Could have at least messaged or called...or just not accepted the order? Gutted because it is the only Chinese delivering.

Absoultly discusting chips under cooked chicken not cooked took 9 mins from Placing order to it being delivered how the hell they cooked and sent out in this time will never no .

The Chinese went down well. Tasted fine. It came out faster then when it went in. Was subject to food poisoning. Been ill for the last 20 hours. Its such a shame that you pay for food to treat yourself and left being sick.

Fantastic Chinese food, prices are good, quality ingredients, containers come full of food, excellent pork ribs large with plenty of meat. delivered quickly & all of the food was very hot on arrival.

Just ordered special fried rice, plain chow Mein, sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry and chips for delivery in Kirkby. Food was piping hot and absolutely delicious will definitely be ordering from there again

£23 Meal for 3,big portions and big flavours,chips crispy,but you have to ring up as no online ordering you give a time to collect but have to wait,big positive though you know its cooked fresh

Terrible service. After 30 mins after our delivery slot which was 1.15hours after ordering I called up to see where the order was. They told me I had to collect. I informed them I was unable to collect and I ordered for delivery. They said they had trouble with their driver (they use own drivers) I asked them if they had even started to cook it yet and they said they had not started the order yet. So they said that I had to call Uber eats to cancel. They refused to cancel order in their half. After an entire day on and off chat to Uber eats I finally was accepted for my £49 refund. It was very stressful trying to sort a refund and the restaurant was very unhelpful. Not even a sorry.

My partner just ordered food from here and I may say it the worse every take away we ever had the food smells of and funny I wouldn't give them a one star i give them something less maybe a -10 this place is not worth the money at all we've had better takeaway then this

First time ordered here and won't be ordering again, meant to have had egg fried rice and got something that don't resemble egg fried rice and a satay beef that had a horrible smell to it as well as horrible taste to it.

Called at the takeaway and got a fabulous king prawn fried rice (a big one). Really nice and tasty. I forgot to pickup my credit card (only cash used) and the lady remember me and it was returned no problem. Will be using again.

Used Tibshelf Chinese for over a year now - last 2 terrible !! Put the first one as just a one off but after tonight's will not be using again - ended up in bin!! ??? New owners ?? New chef Tibshelf was the best but now probably the worse in the area - food bland and tasteless overcooked chips ration portion of ok prawn cracker's dry spare ribs .... Very disappointing sorry lost our custom !!! If new owners need to get tips from previous owners !!!!

We ordered for delivery and was told the wait time was 1 hours 10 - 1 hour 20 minutes. When I called as we hadn’t received anything after almost 2 hours, I was told it would be another 30-40 minutes. This is not the first time this has happened either so I cancelled again. We will not be back.

This is my Chinese restaurant of choice. The food from here is fantastic. They are always very busy but you would expect them to be because the food is so good. I have stopped using other Chinese restaurants because they just don’t compare. I find myself disappointed when I order Chinese anywhere else because nowhere is as good as New crystal house. Not to mention the great customer service, keep up the good work 👌

Always order from here but the last 2 times the food has taken up to 2 hours to arrive and tonight after nearly a 2 hour wait the food arrived cold and extremely salty to salty to eat , will not be ordering again sadly

The noodles and egg fried rice are very nice, the meat, prawns and vegetables, sweet and sour sauces and crispy seaweed are lovely as well. If you are used to and expecting spicy food, make sure you order extra spicy otherwise you might find the sauces to be quite bland. If you order Sichuan you can't expect the Sichuan peppercorn or red chilli oil, just chillies in the sauce. It shouldn't really be advertised as Sichuan that way. Overall, there is still room to improve on the food but they do have great service which I did appreciate.

ordered at 17.33 was told delivery would be 40-50min rang back at 18.39 and was told that they was busy and the food had not even been cooked. This was the 2nd time the 1st time we had it took 2 and a half hours to arrive. very poor customer service.

That was the worst Chinese I’ve ever tasted. Ordered chop suey and rice. Rice was overdone and very dark. The chop suey was cooked in sweet and sour sauce. If I wanted sweet and sour chicken then I would have ordered it. Never again
