Great food always fresh and hot. Value for money. Great staff. Best chippy around. Moved away so no delivery for us so always collect. We wont go anywhere else. Kebabs , wraps and onion rings are lovely. Nice thick gravy mmm

Had chips and battered sausage on Friday, cooked in dripping they tasted amazing. Each one was like a chip shaped roast potato, slightly crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Still drooling 2 days later.

FOOD. Had some amazing fish and chips. The vinegar is to die for. SERVICE. the staff know how to shake that salt. ATMOSPHERE. Has I left it was raining so I popped up my umbrella, it touched the shops tv Ariel that ran down the wall outside. Just then a blot of lightning came down the wire and jumped onto me. Hair raising springs to mind.

Great Chippy, cannot recommend them enough. Really good menu choice, well priced. The staff are excellent, the website is easy to use to order and deliveries are made on time. Plus my dog loves the sausages

Brilliant chippy! Food is tasty-can't say same for staff though hehe, but they are very friendly and welcoming, iv been going since I was a little girl and will even travel now from chesterfield just for a spam fritter with a chip cob an curry sauce! It's always a pleasure to go an see Tim, him an his staff are Brill they always put a smile on your face, an even if it's been a while since going in you will always be greated as if you only went in yesterday.

I really enjoyed the battered sausage and chips. The sausage was moist and delicious. The service is 100% on point and id definitely recommend again. Great Food and Service. Keep it up and see you again soon

Got a cold sloppy bacon burger with Grissel bits and cold sloppy chips other items were edible but least the dog will have a burger to eat as it refused the bacon

Ordered cod small chips and large pies earlier to takeaway. Got home and plated up only to find the fish was haddock. I couldn’t bring it back once plated up. So got to say poor. As I asked for cod and she repeated it back to me. It’s not as they were that busy. Won’t be using it again for quite awhile again.

Wow! Ordered fish and chips (nice and simple) over the phone for delivery, and it was SO good! The batter on the cod was crispy, light, and tasty, and the fish was perfectly done. The chips (small portion) were really nice too, I have to say! The delivery was pretty fast considering the time of day, and the lady delivering it was really friendly and nice. The fish broke in two as I moved it from its own individual wrapping, so the picture really doesn't do it justice, but this was the best fish and chips I've had in a while! Top stuff!

Chip Inn Fish & Chips appalling customer service. Just ordered our family tea to be delivered. arrived with items missing. Called and the rude person at the end of the phone said well we put it in and we can’t get hold of the driver until tomorrow now. No apology, no offer of re delivering my items and ended the call!

I visited on a Thursday evening .My Donner kebab was amazing, overflowing with meat and crisp fresh salad. The very best mild chilli sauce i have ever tasted. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I ordered my food to be delivered at 19:30 . It arrived 19:29 ,the lady driver was very pleasant , The food was red hot (not always the same with some places) .The driver was respectful of our property ensuring the gate was closed as she left. This was not the first time i have used this takeaway, it certainly won`t be the last .Keep up the good work. Keep your standards high.

Friendly staff, food cooked fresh and to order. Portion sizes are good and the burgers are top notch. Always make a fuss of my little girl when we visit the shop too. Delivery service is also a bonus and drivers are always friendly and polite.

Soggy new potato chips and small cod for £7.25. Far better and cheaper available. Fish is 50% more expensive than any other chippy on Just Eat. AVOID!

Don’t bother ordering unless you can wait over 2 hours I ordered at 15-54 opening time 16-00 so I thought I’ll get in first At 17-25 yes 1 and half hours later they said there’s two orders to go to creswell before yours we will put your fish in now Disgraceful service Never again

Tiny little chip shop but very busy. Best scampi I've had from a chip shop in years. Chips were great and when I cooked some up the next day, even better. Very impressed with their tartar sauce, no tiny packet for once and could have only been improved by being homemade. That said the chilli sauce that came in a pot was top draw; loved it. Great place will definitely use again.

Absolute amazing value for money, portions are great and I always know when I come here the food is hot, delicious and service is quick. Been using this chippy from being a child after school to now using this chippy with my family. I live out the area and either have it delivered or collect it regardless. Been using this local chippy for over 25 years ,great service either by delivery or collection ,prompt service by delivery even quicker when collecting from the spotless premises , constantly updated menu which the eccentric (in a nice way owner ) will offer to you sample when he has a new range . great portion size and always piping hot food prepared in front of you ,no vanishing into the back to bring out a prepared meal .a fantastic family run village establishment .never had a complaint or wrong order in all those years . highly recommended .one of the friendliest owners you will ever meet

I went into order 3 portions mini fish and chips, when I saw chips, gravy and fish thrown into the box all on top of each other, I asked for it not to be served like that and he carried on making the other 2...

Food was ok burger buns have down graded order some pop and never got delivered with the food delivery driver said I can only bring it when I finish so my partner rang them to tell them and they said they will sort it then 30 mins later she rang again as still no pop in site and she was rudely answered with it will be there in a second and then they immediately put the phone down with no apology

The majority of the staff are nice, we are not keen on one staff member as they bang on the door far to hard, then leaves the food on the step and walks away before you answer the door. The rest of the staff are very nice. However, the food has gone massively downhill. I don't usually like fish and chip shop food, however this place used to be lovely and I so it's one of the two places I would have fish and chips from (only one in the area), now it's soggy, not cooked properly and have reduced the portion sizes considerably. The rest of the food has gone down hill as well. My partner usually loves fish and chips but even she wouldn't like to order from here anymore which is very unfortunate. This review would have been a 5 star had the food continued with its high standard

People always tell me theres other fish in the sea but there is only one for you and there is only one for me When it comes to ordering a mini fish supper I eat mine from the chip Inn with a cuppa.

Call in occasionally when on a cycle route that takes me past here. Brilliant fish and chips and always friendly staff. Even in the current lockdown they have maintained the high standards and friendly approach.
