Lovely pub,friendly staff

The food is excellent and so are the staff. It is a very friendly country style cafe with a homely feel. Their breakfasts are fab. So are their dinners and a great choice of deserts. Their pies are fab nice and meaty with no fat. Served with whatever you want. However, with their special potatoes & peas they are lovely. There is a great choice of food and it is all home made. Claire and family who run it are so nice and they are very attentive and helpful. We call it our local and we would not go anywhere else. Well done to all the staff.

A lovely little cafe in Swanwick village, just across the road from St Andrews Church. The All Day Breakfast was delicious and the pot of tea made three cups! The cakes looked lovely. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the ladies there were lovely. We'll definitely visit the Salt Pot again. I've added a current (Sept 2024) menu as an image as I couldn't find one online.

Regular entertainment, good atmosphere and friendly staff

Wasn't the best at all first time trying it. I normally live special fried rice wasn't good and chips soggy chicken balls wasn't rate nice neither. Glad iv try it tho

Unfortunately, Cross Keys had no disabled toilet facilities, disabled access in and out was difficult and the car park was like an ice rink,very difficult with a wheelchair.

Overall, the Boot & Slipper is a great place to go for a night out with friends or family. It's a fun and relaxed atmosphere, with something for everyone.

The server barely put any cheese on even after asking for extra than when I get it it’s stone cold And my second order was not even cooked, the foods cross contaminated as they servers didn’t use knife’s to cut the eggs got it on the hands and put it straight into the salad with changing gloves, and this entire time the server just stared at me with disgust, and this is on multiple visits so it’s not like a one time thing
