First time in for me,was for a family funeral. Lovely little pub,service was great,with friendly staff.

We were invited to a party at the Steampacket. The atmosphere was lovely. A very friendly place and the party food was delicious.

We have a walk here 2 times a week. We sit outside. Good outside area. Good choice of beers & ales. Staff always friendly & lovely with my children. Have pop up food on every other Friday (we stayed for the pizza one) serve great pork pie. Thank you

Always good for a Friday pint with the pop-up food stalls that appear on every other Friday evening. Good atmosphere and nice staff. Always a few decent guest ales too.

There was a good range of hand pulled beer and a friendly atmosphere. Much improved decor too, since I last visited many years ago. The only negative was blaring sports TV's, but that's a personal preference, lots were enjoying them.

We had my sons funeral there this week The landlady was brilliant she worked so the bar behind bar it was busy Nothing was to much trouble for her and staff was very Friendley Thank you all so much

Great pub with a really good atmosphere, there was a beer festival when we called but the beer was served in plastic rather than glass, understandable but for me the beer tastes different when not in a glass, would definitely call again though as it seems a really good pub.

Great pub. Great beer. Best beer quality and selection in Swanwick area. 6 years in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and they've missed out this year! Unbelievable given the choice and quality on offer. Can't believe it looking at the pubs they have included. The GBG has absolutely no credibility this year!

Really lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, dog friendly. Great to see a games night on Monday for people to enjoy.

Amazing service. Family friendly atmosphere!!

Above average priced beer, table service is very slow, beer is of great quality and is kept very well. If you have never been to this pub before you will get well looked after, however they do not seem to be very interested in keeping local guests. Good look getting a table. even if there seems to be tables available, there booked for someone who will turn up 3 and a half hours later there loss.

Friday afternoon with friends I visited this pub & sitting outside, the waitress took our orders, we had a choice of six real ales. I drank a pint of bass & sampled five halves of the rest. A very enjoying afternoon with good company.

The Steampacket is a absolutely lovely pub. They always have a great selection of beers on and plenty of lagers, ciders and spirits. It's been recently refurbished and they have made a superb job. The snug is gorgeous and a great place to sit. Well recommended

Classic traditional pub with a good selection of well kept real ales and guest beers. There are usually a couple of ciders to choose from. Live Sports shown on big screen. No food except for a large “hand reared” pork pie if you’re hungry. Friendly staff and local vibe.

A local for us and we always have a good time. Plenty of Ales or Stout to choose from and always a few special Ciders available too. Enough to go around with their spirit selection and a very welcoming enviroment. Dog friendly too👍👍

Visited for the Beer and Cider festival, was a great event with loads of people there. Entertainment was good, particularly Richy Vida' s band who were fantastic. Seating outside was very limited though.

It's a nice pub quite a lot of places to sit good pool table and darts board even a gambling machine were you can choose from a lot of slot machines not to expensive.
