Brilliant pub full of the sound of laughter from friendly people inside & outside - attentive enthusiastic & efficient staff - very very good food at reasonable prices. You must book!

Popped in today for lunch with my wife and son after a 5 mile dog walk. Upon approaching the bar for drinks and menu, got served stray away, by lovely staff. Food came promptly and wow it was absolutely delicious, all home cooked. Made to feel so welcome and will definitely be returning.

Cosy, welcoming, great atmosphere, fabulous food - plentiful portions. Excellent table service, and we were not rushed between courses. The staff were well organised and efficient especially as we were a party of twelve. Thank you team Blubell!

We've been many times, always reliable from our experience. Good standard of service from nice, smartly dressed staff, Food is very nice, and pretty good value too. Tip - go for the smoked salmon and prawn starter -fab! There's always at least two decent ales on the go, plus lagers etc, and good wines. Yes, I know the landlord isn't exactly a bundle of joy, but we're used to it now, it's all part of the quirky charm, and anyway he knows how to run a great place, that's the main thing.

Had salmon but could not have wine in sauce. So they said would see what could do. After a while no one came back to say what sauce could have and the salmon appeared covered in tomatoes sauce .poured all over it I have never had salmon with tomatoes sauce it was disgusting. And a shame as the salmon was beautiful at least should ask or put in jug.as l cannot have tomatoes? Which had asked would have told them Sorry

Wedding Reception My wife and I recently held our wedding reception here. We went with a tapas menu including garlic prawns, bbq ribs, calamari, patatas bravos, arancini, charcuterie and assorted vegan dishes. We ended up ordering too much but better that way I suppose!! All the food was delicious and delivered perfectly on time in a great setting. Many thanks to Will for his expertise and organisation. Highly recommend for the food and setting.

Situated in the small village of Farnah Green, The Bluebell Inn is an excellent place to enjoy a quiet drink or a first class meal. The staff are welcoming and friendly, great service and the portion sizes mean you won't be left feeling hungry.

Food is excellent, been a few times and looking to come again next week!

Cracking meal for 4 in the bar with our two dogs today. All meals excellent, Halibut with prawns, muscles and cream sauce with freshly buttered veg and new pots was my choice. Great pub if you fancy a walk up the Chevin 🍻

Superb Christmas lunch, welcome and service. Simple fayre cooked with a twist to take it to another level. Fantastic atmosphere and pub/restaurant only two miles outside Belper. Zero negatives. Looking forward to dining there again very soon. 5*
