A proper locals pub, friendly, inviting and a good service.
Alison went above and beyond to create a spooky atmosphere in the function room for the Halloween party with sound effects and DJ. Needless to say, we had a super night!
A friendly coffee stall on platform 3 at Peterborough Rail Station dispensing excellent coffee and a wide range of biscuits, flapjacks, &c. Telephoned me immediately upon discovering my pocket book which I had forgotten on the stall. Unhesitatingly recommend.
My daughter and I was in the area for an appointment. Whist waiting we decided to find somewhere to get something to eat and came across this lovely cafe. The owners are just lovely, attentive, chatty with great sense of humour. The atmosphere was great, customers chatting to each other and the owners seem to have a great rapour with their regular customers as well as building great relationship with new customers.Due to my daughter's appointment over running, I stayed for quite sometime and although there was a constant flow of customers I was able to get on and do some work whilst waiting. The owner made regular check backs without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was cooked to order and really lovely. All in all a really lovely place and we will be back soon.
The Beeches cafe is a lovely well laid out cafe, with comfortable seating/sofa area, has a well kitted out childrens area and a huge garden area.
The owner Claire is a lovely ladies who bakes fresh cakes every day, cooks fab breakfasts and has a wide range of food/drink options available. Id highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a cuppa and cake! Especially if you have children... Its very child friendly with gates to keep your little ones safe!
Its weekly treat for me and my little one!
Ate here last year with friends who are members
One of the best value and tasty lunches I’ve had in a long time
Excellent steak, veg, dessert, cheeses etc
Proper old school
Proper quality
Too much beer, wine and port was consumed though!
Ordered takeaway
Thai crackers (authentic, slightly browned with a malty flavour)
The best Som Tam salad I've ever had outside of Thailand. So good that we reserved the juices to use as a dipping sauce for the left over crackers.. An absolute delight!
Chicken Pad Thai. Again. Perfect.
Massaman Curry. Soft potatoes. Tender chicken. Surprised by the odd pop of a fresh cherry tom.
The best Thai food we've had. Even though we are blessed with many great Thai restaurants in Bolton and surrounding areas.
A place frequented by a lot of Bolton's Thai fans.
Great bright and airy place. 5 mins walk from Richmond Park, kingston gate.
Delicious cakes plus Indian savoury snacks. Run by a very professional and friendly lady. Have been back twice this week.
Stopped here for breakfast and what a lovely place this is! I had a small breakfast and my partner had a stottie cake with eggs and bacon. The food was lovely and freshly cooked. The staff were so friendly and helped us plan our day as we were new to the area. Highly recommended.
Had a scrumptious roast dinner with beef yesterday it was so good. Enjoyed every bit of it. Also had cheesecake for afters delicious. Well done all staff at snack attacks
THis is a lovely little bakery and coffee shop. The chelsea bun I had was the best I have ever eaten. my husband had the bakewell tart and he found his a little dry for his taste but it hasn't put us off as he said there was plenty else there for him to try. The coffee was lovely and the service and prices were excellent
What a brilliant idea all your favourite meats and cheeses in a box to take on the beach with you. I had cheese and ham platter with pickles it was delicious .Service friendly and very reasonably priced
