The food is extremely good for the price, the staff friendly and there's plenty of charging sockets for a laptop so I could work while I ate.

Lovely cafe I have been several times . Always a warm welcome it’s bright clean and warm . I went with a friend we both had coffee and a toasted tea cake £3.50 bargain. It comes with butter & choice of jams . My friend vey impressed with special of roast beef that some workers were eating looked lush. I have had homemade stew served with hunk of crusty bread was 10/10 eaten breakfast also lovely. Homemade cakes available I took home slice of lemon curd cake was yummy. It’s a family run cafe reasonable prices overlooks Scott Park Saturday mornings is extra busy there as have lots of phone orders & people taking away food be prepared for slight wait but always worth it. It has community feel with colouring sheets & pencils & high chairs owners & staff friendly. I do know that a friend used their buffet service for a wake & was very impressed.

Found out by accident that they were doing Sunday Takeaway lunches, so phoned up and booked two lunches and desserts and got my timed pickup boy was I suprised when I arrived the meals were massive and plated in Foil containers you could not fault the quality and size. Along with the desserts the whole thing only cost £20.90 for two I bet you will not find a meal and dessert this price and quality anywhere else in Bristol the Father and daughter team were excellent and I have already booked for next week.

Stopped in for a ham and cheese panini with side salad. Was quick friendly service and very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food served. Salad was fresh with a nice balsamic dressing, panini was tasty and notably the ham was very high quality and a generous amount. Enjoyed a light lunch here today thank you

Visiting from Canada and come here every time we visit Bristol. Locals don’t know how good they have it here. Had the special today which included a coffee or tea. Amazing thick slice toast supplied by a local bakery, a perfectly cooked over easy egg (with a beautiful yoke), a generous portion of english bacon and a sausage. Also included tomato and beans. We’ve travelled all over Europe in the past 5 weeks and the value for the quality and quantity of food is second to none. We were greeted and served by the owner and her staff who were friendly, attentive and efficient. We’ll be back for lunch tomorrow before leaving town. Thank you Riverside Cafe for your hospitality and kindness. So nice to have a home style meal away from home.
