Ate here last year with friends who are members One of the best value and tasty lunches I’ve had in a long time Excellent steak, veg, dessert, cheeses etc Proper old school Proper quality Too much beer, wine and port was consumed though!

Good as usual with Karen behind the bar. The guys were playing bridge in the main room Gentler evening and engaged discussion

Having been a member for a number of years, I have enjoyed numerous meals and cannot think of anytime when the food has been nothing short of excellent. Beef Wellington was served to our group of bowlers recently and it was superb. Beautifully cooked and so tender. You are always greeted and treated well by the stewardess Karen. Highly recommended for gentlemen to consider applying for membership.

Karen looked after us extremely well. Serving a well enjoyed Beef Wellington. This was to die for! Unfortunately it is men only but the style and ambience is truly outstanding.
