I had the pleasure of sampling Kodawari during a visit to Caffeine & Machine and it was absolutely sensational. I had the Teriyaki Beef loaded fries and the Katsu Chicken sando (sandwich). Everything was just perfect, absolutely no criticisms at all. The chicken was divine - not too moist but not dry either, right in the sweet spot with quality meat clearly used. The beef was also great - sometimes Teriyaki can be an overpowering flavour but it was again, spot on. I now actively look for when Kodawari is at C&M, cannot wait to eat there again!
I don;t undersatdn the thinking behind the owners. This pizza was AMAZING! And there aren't many pizza places around here now with Pizza Express gone. But the owners pulled the pizza over out and put in a seafood place and the food is soooooooo boring. Just tasteless. I just keep praying they bring back the pizza. It was 1000% better.
One of the best meals we’ve ever had… and a 2 min walk away from home! We’ll definitely be making this a monthly treat. Unfortunately no photos… we were too excited to eat. The smells had us at first whiff.
We just had a delicious Diaviola pizza at Lombardis. The marinara sauce was really tasty and the salami chunks were really generous. We also had a slice of chocolate cake which was delightful.
The owner was very friendly, we will definitely come back!!
What a find this was. An excellent cafe with a full and varied menu at reasonable prices. Plenty of homemade and local produce. We both tried quiche, there were 3 veggie ones to choose from. Served with homemade coleslaw and potato salad and the freshest green salad I've had in a long time. Highly recommended.

Popped into this simple cafe/restaurant on the wettest Saturday for a while as the menu intrigued me. So glad I did!
I ordered a fenugreek and turmeric soup, with traditional bread, all freshly made and OMG.
This was not just a ‘hug in a (soup) mug’ but a full on ‘cuddle in a puddle!’ Ok that did not quite work but hopefully you get the drift.
The soup was fragrant, lightly spiced and very hearty, perfect for the depressing cold outside and the bread was warm, both chewy and crisp and generously covered in sesame seeds.
It is the best feeling to experience new tastes together (spices, egg, lime, sesame... who would have thought?!) that just work.
So good was everything that I ignored my innate Britishness and struck up conversation with a fellow weather-refuger who had ordered the same, extolling its’ virtues.
Cannot recommend this place enough. It is rare to find somewhere now where the food tastes so fresh, and not reliant on salt and fat to give taste.
It felt like home-cooked food with a lot of love included. Please do come and support, and experience a well filled belly!!!
We were round almost all Kings Lynn looking for an independent coffee shop with whole milk not semi. This lovely little place did a lovely whole milk latte and gorgeous Portuguese pastries. Very friendly and great ambience
Myself and 5 friends found this little gem of a place.
Sweet garden settings for a lovely cream tea ( all be it had to have it the Cornish way 😀 )
The scones were excellent and you could literally taste the freshness of them.
And a warm family welcome went a long way.
5 ⭐️ all the way
Love the Cornish crew

Lovely little cafe, with homemade food. My sister and I had the breakfast, freshly cooked and delicious. Service was excellent. Menu changes daily and Ann made you feel welcome. Good cup of coffee too! Will definitely be going back again.

I was at the Redwing Gallery (to attend a brilliant Portraiture class) when I ordered a meal from their cafe.... Quesadilla (tortilla with refried beans and vegan cheese). Absolutely delicious. Also, the coffee is perfect. They always try to meet your requirements when you ask. The Redwing Gallery is a great place, run by lovely people and is a wonderful asset for the people of Penzance and its visitors. I heartily recommend a visit.
Most definitely the best coffee & brownies around!! & if that’s not enough to entice you, their menu is outstandingly tasty! To top it all off, the staff are so welcoming & friendly! Worth a visit
