I was at the Redwing Gallery (to attend a brilliant Portraiture class) when I ordered a meal from their cafe.... Quesadilla (tortilla with refried beans and vegan cheese). Absolutely delicious. Also, the coffee is perfect. They always try to meet your requirements when you ask. The Redwing Gallery is a great place, run by lovely people and is a wonderful asset for the people of Penzance and its visitors. I heartily recommend a visit.

I had a delicious light lunch at the Redwing on Thursday. It was hard not to choose the excellent refried beans with flatbreads and salad again, but opted for a nostalgic beans on sourdough toast with vegan cheese. Not your average! Definitely worth stopping in when you're in (the nicest part of) Penzance. Hugh Appleton

Really great find. The coffee is great full of flavour. There is lots of space with chess sets available if the weather is not great. Recommend the brownie and the flapjack. Try the cafe cortadito for a nice change.

We always struggle to find vegan and gluten free cafe's, this little gem ticks all the boxes.. Beautiful cakes, cookies and Cuban coffee. The lady that served us was very efficient and knowledgeable 💚

Spotted this cafe down an alley off the busy main street and it proved to be a great spot for lunch. The gallery is an welcoming space and the coffee is excellent. The food is quite acceptable but would benefit from a bit more in the way of spice/herbs. The volunteers behind the counter are delightful to chat to. All in all an oasis of good sense and firm commitment to humanist, socialist principles ... so you are assured of finding a seat!

A friendly vegan cafe attached to a changing gallery space specialising in 'Outsider Art'. Green issues are very much to the fore here, so food is locally sourced and plastic is banished. A great meeting place for local groups as well as the casual visitor in need of chocolate cake and a Cuban coffee.

This is an unusual gallery, excellent use of an odd space, displaying the work of a variety of local artists, not at all the usual tourist kitsch paintings of LandsEnd. Nice cafe with locally sourced vegan snacks. Friendly and helpful staff.

Fine Cuban coffee and locally made vegan food and locally baked snacks. Grass roots gallery and artist studios on site with changing exhibitions, and community space for hire. Very quirky and atmospheric, great vibe and a real discovery not to be missed.

Went with friends for dinner to this delightful small restaurant run by husband Jordan (the chef) and wife Kerris (the waitress). We had an excellent evening, the meal was delicious and the service efficient and friendly. Would recommend a visit.

Had the most amazing trip for my 70th birthday. A real treat from my children. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the girls. Even the weather was on our side. Would have no hesitation in recommending this boat to everyone.

Found this little gem of a cafe by chance and so glad we did. We both had filled ciabattas which were lovely. I then had to have a slice of homemade lemon cake which was amazing. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back next time we’re in Cornwall

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.
