Popped into this simple cafe/restaurant on the wettest Saturday for a while as the menu intrigued me. So glad I did! I ordered a fenugreek and turmeric soup, with traditional bread, all freshly made and OMG. This was not just a ‘hug in a (soup) mug’ but a full on ‘cuddle in a puddle!’ Ok that did not quite work but hopefully you get the drift. The soup was fragrant, lightly spiced and very hearty, perfect for the depressing cold outside and the bread was warm, both chewy and crisp and generously covered in sesame seeds. It is the best feeling to experience new tastes together (spices, egg, lime, sesame... who would have thought?!) that just work. So good was everything that I ignored my innate Britishness and struck up conversation with a fellow weather-refuger who had ordered the same, extolling its’ virtues. Cannot recommend this place enough. It is rare to find somewhere now where the food tastes so fresh, and not reliant on salt and fat to give taste. It felt like home-cooked food with a lot of love included. Please do come and support, and experience a well filled belly!!!

I've been to Neeman several times, sometimes for just a hot drink, other times for lunch. The owners are wonderfully friendly. The coffee is well-crafted and I've sampled their own blends of tea when they have them - the rose blend is particularly nice. Tea is served in a small teapot on an iron trivet with a votive candle to keep it warm which is lovely attention to detail. If you want to combine your hot drink with something sweet, I've tried the carrot cake, the gluten-free banana bread, and the berry cheesecake and they are all delicious. For lunch I've had the spinach omelette which was great and I believe I once had an omelette with a Persian aubergine specialty which was also very tasty. For lunch too Neeman adds extra touches like an olive garnish for the omelettes. There is a play area for young children for coffee mornings after the school run, or there's free wifi if you want to bring your laptop and do some work.

We came for breakfast and with my 15 month old daughter. The atmosphere is calm and you don’t feel rushed at all. The best part is the food. There isn’t much on the menu, but what they do have is done very very well. We had mirza with homemade bread, which was amazing. My daughters breakfast was a cheese omelette and it came with so many fruits and vegetables. They even had child’s cutlery and plastic and wooden bowls. They have a small play area and even a bouncer and walker for smaller children. The staff were kind and friendly and was a lovely experience. We will be back :)

What a find!! The Best Gluten Free Apple Almond Cake I've tasted! Definitely going back soon. And near enough to enjoy after a long walk at the weekend!

Their homemade cakes are unreal! I used to love this cafe called Bebe in Iran and they’ve been able to replicate their cakes perfectly!!! They also do a good job at maintaining an incredible taste while only putting good quality ingredients into their treats - some are even vegan! I don’t know if you’ve ever had pomegranate cheesecake but it’s something you never knew you needed to try ASAP!!! I will be coming back!!!

Went in looking for a quick lunch whilst shopping in Sheen and didn't want to go to the usual chains. Neeman's chef persuaded me to have her traditional Persian soup for lunch instead of avocado on toast. A turmeric and fenugreek soup, served with a poached egg in it and with Persian flatbread - delicious! She and her husband were also kind enough to offer us the few remaining slices of cake on the counter for free so they could get going for new years eve celebrations - all also very yummy, including the vegan chocolate cake. Would definitely come again!

On the hunt for a quick sandwich late lunch on New Year's Eve and came across this lovely cafe - delicious home-made soup, persian bread and home-made cakes with great flavour coffee was served. Would definitely visit again - home made cakes are so much nicer than processed cakes brought in for many of the high street chain cafes. The vegan chocolate cake was delicious.

Found this hidden gem only by accident. In the first visit, we had breakfast and omelette varieties that were simply exquisite. The owners who manage the restaurant are Roya and Amir, both are extremely pleasant and nice, hence complementing their excellent food and service. Those who love a great and nice cafe would no doubt appreciate this place, and those who are impressed by the very popular R&H cafe in Richmond, will find out that Neeman is an equally great alternative.
