Looks like I'm their first review of this year. Usually by this time of the year I would have written many reviews of places I had eaten at, but obviously because of Covid 19, lockdown and government guideline restrictions this is my first UK review of the year. We decided to use the "Eat out to help out" scheme, having lived in the area for a little while Hampton Hill is one place I haven't eaten at much despite having driven through the place practically every day. We phoned up and they had places available so went for it. There's a vast menu to choose from and plenty on space inside and out, so social distancing was no problem. I was going to have starters but my don told me not to bother as he said the Godfather Burger would be enough and he was so right, the sundried tomatoes in it really gave it that something extra. My wife had the Chicken in creamy mushroom sauce and my son the Sea Bass. All were cooked to perfection, we had to wait a while for the food but it was well worth the wait, believe me. With the government scheme this lot came only to £24 but even without it, it would be worth the full price. We will return, definitely.

Well we did come back again. And we were not disappointed. An excellent T-bone weighing in at 550grams which for £24.95 was good value. Great chips with that too, by the way. My seafood platter was exquisite. Perfectly cooked squid, sea bass and kings prawns, all for about £20. But what makes this place is how we are treated. With smiles, laughter and fun. Don’t be mistaken, Vincenzo takes his cooking very seriously and it’s his passion for freshly cooked and authentic Italian food which he delivers time and time again, which ensures the regular visits. We were also treated to a tiramisu as Vincenzo overhead that it was my Uncle’s birthday! Absolutely fabulous, thank you!

We finally managed to eat at Vincenzo's. The pizze are sooo amazing!!! The best pizza this side of Italy (trust me, I'm Italian!). The toppings are varied, delicious, authentic, and the quantity is really great, perfectly spread over a crisp, tasty handmade pizza base. We tried both the charcoal and the green variations, WOW! Plus Vincenzo is truly friendly, kind, fast, and a real pizzaiolo - he's from Naples! We'll go again asap, hopefully once a month. We can't believe our luck to have found this restaurant! Five stars although it deserves ten. Grazie Vincenzo.

Do not be deceived by the nondescript exterior of Bloated Mallard and assume that their menu is a pizza oven churning out UK-style spaghetti swimming in sauce. Vincenzo's is a proper restaurant named after the chef, and his menu of authentic southern Italian fare are made with the freshest ingredients (think blue swimmer crabs), al dente pasta and loads of passion. The BEST value Italian restaurant in London by a mile, and I work in the city! We ordered the Linguine Vongole, Linguine Gamberoni, Tagliatelle Bolognese (children's portions sell for 5 quid and are 3/4 of an adult's portion). The prawns were tasty down to the legs while the clams were succulent, not to mention the sweet cherry tomatoes. For dessert we had the home-made tiramisu and torta caprese - just the right level of sweetness! Vincenzo is super friendly and always happy to customise dishes. Do ask him about the off-menu specials of the day! Highly recommend for family meals and special occasions. Al fresco seating available in the spacious backyard. This place tucked at the back of The Bloated Mallard is excellent. The chef is from Italy which definitely helps! We had a creamy carbonara and a diavolo pizza and both were delicious. My partner had a mixed starter board. The head chef (Vincenzo I guess) is a great character and always on hand to offer suggestions. We will be back again.

I am so glad we found Vincenzo and his kitchen - one of the best authentic Italian restaurants I've found around. The taste reminds me of eating in Italy - fresh ingredients, al dente pasta, flavoursome food, cooked to perfection. The Mixed seafood salad I had the other day was to die for. Keep up the good work!

Tuesday night in The Bloated Mallard TW12.. Vincenzo’s Kitchen, I feel when I smell the aromas and watch the food pass by me that I could possibly be in Naples The food made me not want each course to finish. You can taste his passion for his dishes in each mouthful. We have been regular guests since the first time we ate here. The sooner you taste for yourself the better! Trish&Pete

Proper Italian coffee, freshly made Sicilian pastries and a friendly atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff and the bonus of a large screen television which shows Italian street and beach views. Now moved
