Such a good night with the girls! Amazing vibe, food 11/10… definitely be back!!

Me and my husband eat here at least once a month, more in the summer. It is a family run restaurant and you really feel that - the staff all feel like friends and it is the warmest of places. The food is absolutely gorgeous, I always feel like I am on holiday when I eat there - it’s like one of those hidden gems you find on your travels and then you end up going back there every night. Recommendations? That’s tough because I love everything. I always enjoy the truffle ravioli and the risottos, but then sometimes I’ll opt for something different from the specials board - I had swordfish tagliatelle last night which was divine.

Excellent food and wine along with extremely friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to visit again and try more food from the menu

Honestly I don't get this place. The food is OK, the manager and staff are so lovely , but we sat on a table next to a dirty wall and felt nothing special. Food was OK but not reasonable price wise. Just nothing special. We both had pasta, perhaps a bad chef day.

A lovely find for me so close to Kew Gardens. Tasty food and wine at a sensible price for the area. A real Italian family feel to the restaurant borne out by the friendly team offering courtesy and good service. Definitely worth a re-visit.

What a superb evening. The atmosphere and food took me back in time to my mother’s house in southern Italy. An absolute treat and perfect romantic night out. I had a new steak special and my husband had saltimbocca. Absolutely divine. We will be coming back. Delighted with our first date night out for a while.

First diners in at lunchtime, so lacking in atmosphere to start with - not the restaurant’s fault! Lovely restaurant and delicious food. Will definitely return. Reservation recommended, even on a Monday lunchtime in February!

Had lunch here after visiting Kew, 2 couples and were more than happy with the veal, fish and calves liver that we had for lunch, washed down with a bottle of the house red. Service was friendly, coffee was good and we all thought that we would return in our next visit.

Really enjoy going to this place - the perfect local Italian. Friendly, tasty and always with a smile. Recommend the meat dishes and the special pudding of the day.

Excellent small Italian in Kew. Third visit to this local restaurant and the food was better than ever…my sea bass in herbs was cooked to perfection….good atmosphere on a cold evening and the place was full as usual…well worth a visit

I've been looking forward to visiting this restaurant for quite some time, based on previous Google reviews. Honestly, it was a little disappointing when we did manage to get some food here. The staff are extremely friendly, can't complain about the service at all. The atmosphere was good but could be better. The real disappointment was the food. It wasn't at the level I was expecting. Though the starters were good, the mains were mediocre. I've had better food at many other Italian restaurants. Please don't take this as negative criticism, that's not my intention. I would suggest looking into hiring another chef to elevate the taste. Or drop the prices. You can't have both mediocre food and absurd prices.

Spoilt for choice for places to eat, after a wander around Kew we settled on the Italian Q Verde and what a fantastic choice that was. The service, food and atmosphere were all fabulous. The prices were up there, but the food was delicious and worth every pence. Our evening was topped off with complimentary lemoncello from our host.

A very good adress ,genuine Italian food . All was delicious and we will definitely come back.

We booked Q Verde because it was local to Kew Gardens and we were visiting to see the lights. We received a warm welcome and the food and service were very good. My husband had the liver, which he said was excellent. There was a great atmosphere, promoted by the friendliness and efficiency of service and the fact that everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. The next time we visit Kew, we will definitely book a table.

Best Italian I have had since being in Rome. Black truffle ravioli was delicious. Clean plates all round. Great friendly service. Highly recommended.

Our go to place when in this part of London. Great when visiting Kew Gardens and adds to the feeling of a good evening out when the Christmas lights are on at the gardens. Traditional proper Italian restaurant with plenty of choice. Cheaper as always to opt for pasta than meat or fish and extra for sides but the saltimbocca was excellent. Good specials including pasta. Passed the test on better than I would have made at home.

We love Q Verde, we are locals who come frequently, they are friendly, reliable, warmly hospitable, we always have wonderful food and a lovely evening.

Great service, and fantastic food. We had a wonderful starter -a sharing platter of cold meats, prawns and calamari in batter, aubergine, artichoke etc. The main courses and dessert were delicious too. A warm welcome from Tony, the Italian owner and a lemoncello on the house to finish.

I really enjoyed eating here. The menu is classically Italian, with pasta in beautifully judged source and then fantastic cuts of meat cooked to perfection. Really warm welcome too. Not cheap, but certainly not exorbitant. Will definitely come again.

Attractive Italian eatery in close proximity to Kew Gardens. Service was friendly and attentive. Although the pasta was well cooked we felt that we could have produced a similar tasting dish at home for a fraction of the price. The orange chocolate cake was luxurious and a decedent was to end a well rounded meal.

QVerde isn't special because of the food, though that is very good as well. It isn't special because of the location either. It is special because of the people who work there and run the restaurant. Nowhere in London do I feel like I am in a true Italian family restaurant but there. The service is fantastic and the people are just he nicest people anywhere. Hospitality at its best.

We all enjoyed our meal. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Service was prompt without being rushed. Portions were generous and well cooked and presented.

Delicious food, true Italian flavours. Pasta and prawns were cooked to perfection, calamari grilled in a super tasty way and tiramisu the best I had outside of Italy. A real neighbourhood gem, I regret not trying it before. Excellent service, all around a great experience and I can’t wait to go back!

An absolute gem of a place. About 10 mins walk from Kew Gardens. I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons and the staff were amazing at making sure i had an enjoyable tasty meal. Had a fantastic meal with amazing service before exploring Kew Gardens which is only a 10 minute walk away. The pasta was fresh and the tomato on the bruschetta was phenomenal. This place is my favourite in London- the service and atmosphere are fantastic. You are made to feel so welcome. It's upbeat but subtle, funny but not overbearing. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. There is a reason I keep coming back here and bringing my friends, fantastic

What a fabulous restaurant! We arrived early and they accommodated us with no problems. The service was great, everyone was warm and friendly. We had the most delicious meals and the restaurant was very cosy and welcoming. I would highly recommend them .

We had tickets to go to Xmas at Kew at 6pm and Q Verde was happy to open the kitchen an hour early for us so we can get into Kew Gardens on time. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was fantastic. Absolutely recommend. :)

We go to Verde each year after the Christmas Lights at Kew. Each year the welcome and service are superb. The food is delicious, but as with all restaurants the prices are higher than the year before - understandable. This year we were all quite tired and Monday morning loomed so we skipped dessert but a little cake was still brought to the table with a candle and Happy Birthday. A lovely thought. We’d highly recommend Verde.

The food here is AMAZING! We stayed at an Airbnb and our host recommended this Italian. I am such a lover of Italian food and me and my partner could tell as soon as we walked in that this restaurant was going to be amazing, and it was! I’d definitely come again if we come back to London.

Decided to eat Italian when staying in Kew, great decision to choose here. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Food was delicious best veal saltambocco I've ever eaten, we all cleared our plates. House wine very nice as well.

Absolutely everything about Q Verde is amazing, the staff are super friendly, the food is incredible- authentic Italian food and it’s always so cosy inside. Myself and my partner go there for special days and anniversaries and would highly recommend, 5 stars.

Good pasta dishes and excellent service. Not best value for money though...Garlic bread - just 4 small slices of a french stick.

This was our third visit and both the food and the atmosphere were just as good as they were the last time. Wonderful front of house welcome and family friendly. I wish I lived closer and could come more often.

Nice ambience and excellent, attentive but not too attentive, service. We had a late lunch here after a visit to Kew Gardens and it is an excellent spot for that, less than ten minutes walk from the Gardens and about five minutes walk from the station. The food was tasty, fresh and varied but the pasta portions were quite small. We chose this against Pizza Express and it was definitely the right choice. A much more interesting place to lunch.

Family run friendly Italian restaurant. Excellent food and superb service. Staff are genuinely very helpful. Calamari and mushrooms to start - excellent. All main courses were really very good. No room for dessert. Perhaps next time.

Starter was nice, main was flavourless really. Chilli garlic chicken had no chilli or garlic in that I could taste.

We booked as we wanted to eat in an Italian restaurant within walking distance of our hotel in Kew. We were delighted with Q Verde - the service was very good despite two large parties being there at the same time, and the food was excellent.
