Rosa's was our go-to cafe when we were living in Mortlake. Rosa and Karolina are such warm, friendly people and were so good with our daughters too. The coffee is fantastic, as are the pastries. We will drop-in for sure next time we're in the area

i've been attending Rosa's shop for ages. Whether a wonderful cappuccino, or a light meal, every time is within my expoectations. Staff is great, the back patio a place not to avoid, specially during Summer-Spring time, and the food is excellent: it ticks all the boxes. Whatever you order is fresh and tasty, with a strong Italian input.

Best place for an authentic independent family Italian cafe, the staff are very friendly and want to help. The garden with a fountain is splendid. It’s been in Richmond for years and part of the community.

An authentic Italian family deli and cafe. Friendly service and value for money. The seating and tables are comfortable. There's an outside rear garden seating area (for summer of course).

Visiting East Sheen and had coffee and a pastry at Villa Rosa so can only comment on this but both were absolutely excellent. I always try and support non chain coffee shops so this one was a lovely find, I am sure it is very popular with locals. The coffee was so good I had two cups, not something I do easily! The pastry was fresh, moist and I could have had two of those. Run by an Italian family I believe - great service and excellent range of home made food - I will definitely be back!

Saw this place on trip advisor so I thought I'd give it a go. The Lasange at almost £9 does not come with any side salad so I went for a grilled chicken and sun dried tomato ciabatta. Very disappointing to be served battered chicken covered in mayo. Not my idea of Italian deli.

Villa Rosa is a bit of a hidden gem. The take away coffee is much better (and cheaper) than the Cafe Nero across the road; and the Italian atmosphere comes from the fact it's owned and run by an Italian family: not the fake-Italian kitch in Cafe Nero. Lovely rear courtyard garden and cosy tables. Limited range of homemade food and huge table of cakes and other waistline expanding food. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit!

We have fallen in love with this place, which serves consistently excellent food across the spectrum of Italian cuisine, and by absolutely charming owner Rosa and her delightful staff.

I think this restaurant/cafe is very much a local institution, you see many of the same faces each time. Not surprising really as the coffee and cakes/pastries are excellent and very good value. The young staff are always pleasant and efficient and the place is overseen by "Rosa" who I'm sure keeps an eye on the efficient running of the place. I have only visited in Summer for morning coffee and always use the rear garden/terrace which is very pleasant. Highly recommended.

From the outside Villa Rosa and Leonardo Caffe look like separate entities but inside they are all one. There is also a lovely garden area at the back which must be great in summer. We were just having a coffee and a scone, both of which were very good.

This place is a local institution. Great place to go for a coffee and sit in the garden - weather permitting! The sandwiches here are amazing - made to order in your choice of bread, eat in or take out. Great friendly service too.

Villa Rosa was recommended as a place for a good authentic cappuccino...(just like home--Italy) We went there for coffee, had a great time talking with "Mamma Rosa", and stayed for a light lunch...many regulars make this their coffee bar of choice--ignoring the Costa and Caffe Nero chains--and I can see why...the restaurant is larger than it originally seems..on a nice day, many choose to eat outside in the small garden area. We enjoyed our lunch--lasagna for my husband and a toasted sandwich for me...the desserts looked good, but we didn't indulge..would I go back? Absolutely!

This cafe is much liked by locals, and the same people can be seen almost every day. The young waitresses are delightful. However, it's been going a long time and some refurbishment would be welcome. Lighting is poor, and often lightbulbs are not working. There is no heating even in the midst of winter. It could do with a paint job. There is a garden which can be used in summer, but often the chairs are in need of a good wipe over. The pasta dishes are good, and there is a wide selection of cakes and pastries, but some look like they have been sitting there too long. But having said all that, it's a welcoming place, and since Sheen is well served by cafes, the fact that customers keep returning, then that must count for something. The local MP holds a surgery here now and then.

I often stop at Villa Rosa (Known locally as "Rosa's", the name of the owner) for an espresso and a croissant, which are very good.Today I had lunch there: a baguette with a prawn salad and an espresso. The coffee, as always, was good; the baguette was fresh and the prawn, mayonnaise salad was excellent and freshly made.I sat in the back yard in the hot sun and imagined I was in Italy. Sadly, the reverie was soon over and I was back on the South Circular...but it was good while it lasted
